Pet care experience

Experienced, professional dog guardian

I have worked with dogs in various settings, having cared for rescue dogs on a Greek island, been a dog 'nanny' to 24 Bichon-Frise in Northern Spain and trained sled dogs in the far north of Sweden. I have a National Diploma in Animal Management and completed the first 2 years of my Zoology degree. I have worked with a lot of different animals in zoos, farms, reptile shops, even wild Meerkats in the South African desert! There isn't much I haven't come across and so I am well prepared to look after your fur-baby. Dogs are my passion and our 3 year old PatterJack Hartley is the most loved (spoiled) pup! He is very friendly, full of energy and loves to play so will be very excited to have a friend to stay 🥰

Doggy Day Care • Aug 27, 2026

Charlotte stepped in last minute when I needed a dog sitter for the day and was brilliant! My pup had the best day with lots of play with the two doggies, lots of cuddles and walkies. I could not have asked for more. Thank you Charlotte

Charlotte has looked after our golden retriever Gracie for nearly three weeks, a long time for her to be away from home. I can’t thank Charlotte enough for the care and attention she has obviously given Gracie. You know when you see your dog again whether or not she has been happy and cared for. Gracie was settled, calm (ish!) and looked in great shape. She clearly formed a great bond with Hartley. The regularly updated photos and videos were really helpful and reassuring, so you get to the stage of not worrying about her at all because you know she is being well cared for. I think Gracie is already renewing her friendship with Hartley (and Charlotte of course!).

Charlotte has just looked after my Cocker Spaniel Bertie and it’s clear he’s had a wonderful first stay with her and Hartley. She’s taken great care of him and listened to all of my requests ( of which there were quite a few as Bertie has anxiety issues). He’s come home relaxed and tired with no signs of stress. Charlotte has clearly looked after him 💕 I loved the photo updates showing me how quickly he settled and how relaxed he was - will 100% be booking with Charlotte again

Charlotte was fantastic and incredibly flexible! Maverick had a wonderful first day with her last week, and we can't wait for his upcoming visits, which we’ve already scheduled. Highly recommend!

Kind, helpful, open, responsive. Charlotte and co. gave the best care to Bob. Everything was taken care of. They have a beautiful home with a secure backyard. I didn’t have a single worry. I would leave Bob in their care anytime without hesitation. Thank you!

Schedule

I work part-time from home Monday to Friday in an admin/accounts based role, which is very flexible and allows me time to focus on your pet when it suits them, I can work around nap times and am here for playtime & walks when they wake up! I spend most weekends taking Hartley to his favourite places; forests, beaches, rivers - he is a proper water baby and will swim for miles! We are very lucky to have a have a long rural lane with fields either side that goes for miles, literally on our doorstep so there is plenty of exploring to be done and lots of sniffs.

A typical day

Typically I walk Hartley at around 7:30am each morning (may be slightly later on weekends) which your pup will be invited along to. Then it's breakfast followed by some playtime and normally a snooze, during which I will get some work done. We will finish the day with a little afternoon walk, some more play, dinner and a cosy evening in front of the telly.
