I work from home, as does my better half, an engineer. Your dog would have two loving companions while in our home. We also own a wonderful Boxer who loves every dog he meets and has zero dominance or aggression. If you prefer me to come to your home, I can arrange that, as well.

Information Charlotte F. would like to know about your pet
We can only accept house trained and non aggressive dogs. I prefer dogs that are not barkers, as we both work from home and are constantly on calls with clients. If your dog can use a dog door, that's a plus. If not, maybe we can teach him or her? I CANNOT ACCEPT UNNEUTERED MALES nor FEMALES IN HEAT.
A typical day
We typically work 9-5, Monday through Friday and have pretty busy days. During work hours, there will be lots of cuddling. After work, I walk my dog daily and take him to a local park. If your dog is a happy car rider, we at least go for rides, if the weather is poor.

Pet care experience
Experience Working from home for a university lets me spend my days with my very spoiled Boxer, Woody! Because I’m home throughout the day, your dog will get plenty of companionship, attention, supervision, and affection. Dogs have always been my passion. I’ve been involved with Boxer rescue for over 15 years, volunteering with a tri-state Boxer rescue organization, and I’ve spent more than two decades training and caring for Boxers. While Boxers hold a special place in my heart, I welcome dogs of all breeds and personalities. Home Environment My home is set up with dogs in mind. I have a large, securely fenced backyard with a dog door for constant outdoor access, and evening walks are part of our daily routine. Every dog in my care is treated like family. Safety & Care I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before booking. I also have excellent references from current and former law enforcement officers, rescue volunteers, and long-time clients who trust me with their pets. For added peace of mind, I’m close to an emergency veterinary hospital, and one of my closest friends is an exceptional veterinarian. If your dog has special medical needs or unique concerns, I’m happy to discuss how I can help. One of my proudest compliments came from my own veterinarian, who trusted me to care for his beloved Pit Bull while he was undergoing chemotherapy. Extended Stays For first-time guests staying several days or longer, I strongly recommend a one-day daycare visit before the extended stay. It helps your dog get comfortable with me, Woody, and my home, making the longer visit easier and less stressful for everyone. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pup! Please reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet so we can see if we’re the right fit. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free home where your dog will be cared for just like my own. 💕 Side note: I have extensive experience with injectable and oral medication's. I have a dog with allergies who had to have weekly shots and continues to take oral medication to keep his allergies under control.

Reviews

Charlotte was absolutely wonderful with our 1 1/2 year old bernedoodle, Wren. She treated her like one of her own and even took her to our local dog park (that we are also members of) for extra outside play with other dogs. She sent lots of pictures and videos, was super responsive and communicated throughout our time away. Wren was super happy and playful when we picked her up which is a testament to how comfortable and well taken care of while we were away! We hope to have Charlotte care for her again the next time we’re away.

My first experience with Rover and Charlotte made it seamless! I needed a sitter for my two dogs and that same morning, Charlotte came through! She made everything so easy, stayed in communication by sending updates and pics of the dogs. I knew the dogs were in good hands when I first arrived. I’ll happily request Charlotte’s service again. Thank you Charlotte! You are amazinggg! 🐶🐶

Charlotte was outstanding! I sent multiple requests. Charlotte responded almost immediately. The introduction was scheduled and went smoothly. Charlotte was very helpful additionally by offering hotel and dining options. Charlotte and my dog Kiki really hit it off well. I felt comfortable leaving Kiki with Charlotte. I was more than pleased with Charlotte. I would book with her again, and highly recommend Charlotte.
