I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse that works night shifts at an emergency clinic. I became a Student Veterinary Nurse in 2017, qualified in 2020 and have been working in a veterinary practice for 10 years. I have plenty of experience handling and treating all kinds of pets in practice; including geriatric and young animals, healthy and pets requiring medical treatment. I regularly walk some dogs in the area and love using my free days off and days in between shifts walking and caring for other pets. As for personal experience I have always had dogs and cats growing up, and now have two indoor cats of my own. So I know how pets are considered family members and are a vital part of family life.

Hi, Lottie/Charlotte looked after my two dogs Fifi and Theo, I was away for 8 days and she came round twice a day; walked them once a day, fed them; ensured their water was replaced and topped up and sent me messages with photos every time she took them for a walk. They are both 8 years old and were well looked after, she came for 45 minutes in the morning to play with them and walk them and then 30 minutes in the evening to hang out with them, both of these slots were done at a pre determined rate which we were very happy with Theo is deaf and also requires heart medication once daily and she was well equipped to do all of this as she is a vet nurse I’d highly recommend her and whenever we go away she is great for looking after the dogs as she works night shifts and so has good availability throughout the week and also has her own car

Schedule
I work night shifts so have lots of time during the day to care for pets. I work a pattern of 2 nights shifts on and 2 or 3 nights off. I already have a few dogs I regularly walk and I really enjoy being outside and getting fresh air on my days off.

Please let me know what your pet likes to play with or any treats they like or whether they have a special toy/ball they like. If they enjoy playing with a ball and are well behaved off lead I am happy to play with a ball on our walks or in your garden.
