I’ve taken care of dogs for over 10 years. I love dogs and have grown up around them my whole life. I have watched family, neighbors and friends of friends dogs. All having great experiences with me and my family. I also was a foster through Secondhand Hounds for over 2 years. Your dog will be treated as one of the family.

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home. I do occasionally have to go into the office. But there is always someone here to be with your dog, so they are able to get all the love, attention and potty breaks they need. I am able to pet sit any day of the week and weekend.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play ball. I have two dogs of my own to play with your fur baby as well. In the summer I setup a dog pool. I do pay attention to weather, so on really hot days or really cold days, I make sure they are never outside to long in those dangerous conditions. I am able to crate your dog if needed. And also crate my dogs if I feel your dog needs some one on one time and a break from my dogs. During the school year, I love taking your dog on a walk to the bus stop to see the kids and smell all the smells. At night your dog is allowed in bed with me if they prefer or I can make up the most comfortable bed on the floor. During the day comfortable naps including blankets and pillows on the couch. Please note- I do live in a split level home. With that being said I have stairs. I let the dogs out through the deck. Our deck does have steep stairs and can be slippery in winter. It may not be a good fit if you have a very senior dog and or a dog with bad arthritis or leg issues.

A typical day
Your dog is let outside pretty much when ever they want, and has full roam of the upstairs where I work and can watch, snuggle, and play with them.
