What sets me apart is my hands-on experience from a young age. I grew up helping my mum with her dog walking business, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’ve also regularly looked after dogs for family and family friends while they’ve been away, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility and trust when caring for other people’s pets. I’m confident with both younger, more energetic dogs who need patience and consistency, as well as older pets who may require a calmer approach and extra care. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine and personality, so they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after.

When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always aim to keep them as comfortable and relaxed as possible by maintaining their usual routine. This includes feeding them at their normal times, ensuring they have fresh water, taking dogs out for regular walks and exercise, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I’m very respectful of both the pet and the home, keeping everything clean and tidy while I’m there. I also pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s extra playtime, a calm environment, or a bit more patience with shy or older animals. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my routine. I currently work as a nanny on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, I’m fully flexible and available the rest of the week for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. I’m reliable and organised, and I always make sure the pets I’m caring for get consistent attention and care.
