About Charlotte C.

Safety, trust & environment

When doing drop-in visits, I typically feed your pet first before completing any additional tasks you need taken care of (grooming, cleaning, scooping litter boxes, etc.). Once your pets are done eating, I can give them up to an hour of play/social time before i leave, depending on how much energy they tend to have.

Information Charlotte C. would like to know about your pet

The more I know about your pet, the better I can adjust my visits to make them safe and enjoyable for both of us. Please be sure to disclose any important medical information (allergies, medications, injuries, health conditions, etc.) to me in advance. I also need to know if your pet has any known behavioral issues or strong reactions to specific stimuli (afraid of thunderstorms, hates having paws touched, becomes aggressive when pet for too long, etc.), as well as any coping strategies I can use mitigate these situations while keeping us both safe. House rules are also always helpful to know. Beyond that, I’d love to hear any additional information you think is important (or just fun!) to share.

A typical day

Playing with your pets is the highlight of my visit! I’ll utilize whatever toys and treats you have in the house, and can also bring some of my own to help your pets look forward to my visits (if that’s okay with you, of course). If your pet isn’t the active type, that’s totally fine! I’m more than happy to settle in and make my lap available for snuggling. I can also take playtime outdoors if your pet likes being outside.

I have multiple years of experience petsitting, volunteering at animal shelters, and caring for pets of my own. I’m also knowledgeable about animals body language and behavior, which play a huge role in working with reactive, fearful, or under-socialized pets.

Charlotte is extremely responsible and I feel totally comfortable putting my dog in her care! She is communicative and friendly, and can handle complex situations and directions. Highly recommend her!
