Pet care experience

Reliable, experienced pet care!

I’ve had family dogs my entire life, and pet sitting has always been my go-to side hustle. I’m currently in veterinary school at MSU and previously worked for over two years at a small animal general practice. I also work a few hours each week in a small animal ICU, giving me hands-on experience with pets who need extra care, attention, and monitoring.

Charlotte did a fantastic job watching our pups while we were gone. We don’t go away very often, so our shepard can get anxious while we’re away. She handled everything so well and we could tell the pups were well cared for when we got home.

Charlotte is truly gifted when it comes to her ability to connect with and care for dogs! She has cared for and walked my dogs (for more than a decade), walking them, trimming nails, brushing them, and playing with them. I trust her to walk them and stay overnight. We’ve had multiple rescue shepherds and chihuahua mixes, and they all have loved Charlotte. Highly recommend!!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m currently in veterinary school, so my schedule typically includes morning labs and afternoon lectures, with a break around lunchtime on week days. Weekend stays work best for me, but I’m also available for weekday services as long as pets are comfortable being alone for 4–6 hours while I’m at school.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

I live in an apartment, so I provide care exclusively in clients’ homes. This allows pets to stay in their familiar environment, helping reduce stress and maintain their normal routines. I follow all care instructions closely and prioritize safety, comfort, and trust at all times.

A typical day

I am a very active person, so I love taking dogs on walks or to the park! In place of walks, I can provide mental/physical stimulation by playing fetch, playing with toys, etc.
