I live in an apartment, so when I have dogs stay over I take them out for a short walk every couple of hours for the toilet. I am also happy to dog sit elsewhere, which is often easier.

Information Charlotte B. would like to know about your pet
I like to get to know a dog well before I care for them on my own. It's good to know their quirks, likes and dislikes. I would need to know of any behavioural issues or reactions, in order to know if I am a good fit to care for your dog. I have not had experience giving medicine or with special needs dogs but if you are willing to spend some time showing me, I would be happy to try.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs company with cuddles and play. Taking dogs out for walks is always important and is a great way to stimulate them, through smells and socialisation. I also love to teach new skills/tricks and prioritise keeping up habits and training taught by their owners.

Pet care experience
I have always had a huge love of animals but was never allowed a dog growing up. I am hoping to get a dog of my own in the next couple of years, so am looking to temporarily fill the dog shaped hole in my heart. Through borrow my doggy and other contacts, I have had a lot of experience with dogs in Bristol. I have house sat for a weekend with a King Charles Cavalier. I also met a gorgeous cockapoo in Bristol who I used to take for long walks, have for weekends and was trusted to look after whilst the owner was on holiday for a week, two years in a row. I have also walked another dog and dog sat for long weekends, several times, for my close friend's new puppy. I am very flexible with hours due to being a part time PhD student. Any questions please just drop me a message!
Reviews

Charlotte house sat Bucky for a few nights and she was absolutely amazing! He's an anxious dog with a few quirks so I was a little worried about leaving him, but Charlotte was extremely patient and kept me updated regularly. She also left the house exactly as she'd found it! Highly recommend and will definitely book again :)

Charlotte was amazing with our dogs and they had a great time they came home exhausted!

Charlotte took the time to come and meet me and Bonnie prior to the first sitting - which was a 2 week booking! Bonnie warmed to her immediately and they had a great 2 weeks. I was kept updated with photos which I love. Bonnie was well looked after and I could enjoy my break knowing she was safe. Will book again!
Charlotte is a wonderful dog sitter, incredibly attentive and our dog Pinto is always so excited to see her. She’s reliable and caring and I always feel reassured when she’s looking after him.
