I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough - she is always cheerful, greets my dog with love and he is always very pleased to see her with a very active tail wag!! Nothing is too much trouble for her and I am very happy to leave my dog with Charlotte to look after all day.

Charlotte is truly wonderful, and I couldn’t be happier leaving my dog Barney with her. I was nervous about leaving him at first because he can be ALOT, but Charlotte makes him feel super happy and comfortable.

Charlotte is an absolute star. She looked after our two lovely Irish Setters for a week whilst we were on holiday. The location of her house is a dream with walks right out of her front door - and given how tired our doggies were when they got home they definitely had plenty of exercise. Charlotte was also fab at giving us regular updates so we knew they were doing well. The set up is great - a real home from home for the dogs and so they got to keep their usual routine and had plenty of cuddles (and a few attempts at sneaking up the stairs...). We are pretty convinced they were annoyed when we picked them up as they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. Thank you Charlotte and family for looking after our girls so well.

Charlotte is so friendly and Wilson had the best day with her 🐾 I couldn’t be more relieved than to leave my fur baby with someone who looks after him like her own. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for looking after Captain for us! The whole process was easy and I really appreciated being able to bring him for a quick visit beforehand. The updates were great and I felt he was made part of the family so was able to relax on our holiday.

Safety, trust & environment

I have two very friendly, lovable dogs who are well accustomed to furry visitors, whether it be for a day or months! We have a fully secure garden with lots of space for dogs to run around and play. In the daytime my own dogs and visiting dogs usually spend most of their time in the kitchen and garden or for toilet trained lap dogs I’m more than happy for them to follow me around the house! In the evenings, for those dogs who like human company, I usually bring their beds in the lounge so they can join me. Visiting dogs generally sleep in the kitchen or in the utility if they want to sleep alone. I walk dogs in the morning after they have been fed. For elderly dogs or those less mobile I will walk them separately to younger/ more agile dogs. I am experienced with administrating medication, encouraging picky eaters and consoling dogs that are feeling a bit homesick.

Pets

A typical day

All doggy guests will be well looked after. I have had lots of experience with dogs that need that extra bit of attention or need their own space. Active dogs will get plenty of stimulation and exercise. Those that are less active will still get out and about but to suit their ability/routine. There are lots of dog toys etc. along with plenty of cuddles if they want them.
