Pet care experience
I grew up with 16 dogs
When I was 5 years old, I moved to Uganda where we were given 12 dogs to look after. Over the course of 4 years, they had puppies which as a young kid, I was very excited to raise. The dogs were mainly all German Shepherds. Once we moved back to England, we got a Staffie Cross who quickly became part of the family. I loved taking her for walks and keeping her entertained - she was a bundle of energy. I then moved onto to living with another Staffie and a lurcher, the lurcher being an old boy and needed lots of looking after. I have since looked after my extended family's cocker spaniel and cocker poodle by taking them for walks and house sitting for them. So in short, I have spent a lot of my life around dogs, I love the walking, playing and hanging out with them. I offer discounted rates as I believe loving dog care should be available to as many people as possible.

I had two cats that I lived with for 2 years. We had a cat flap that the cats used very happily. Cats can get bored easily and so the outside stimulation keeps them engaged and happy, as well as playing a little game with them (hand under a rug etc). When looking after someone else's pets, I will make sure that the house is as tidy as it was when I found it.

Very pleased with Charlie. He sent enough pictures during his stay so I knew he and Bear were getting on. He left the house very clean and tidy having stayed 2 nights. I would definitely use Charlie again.

Charlie was really good at visiting ahead of time to understand my cat's needs, and at communicating throughout. I came home to a very chilled-out cat, which is all I could have hoped for. Recommended!
What can I say? Rush to book Charlie! He was simply brilliant - kind, gentle, considerate and really went the extra mile when I accidentally locked Florence in my therapy room before I left 🤦🏻♀️. Charlie sorted everything out beautifully, calmly, responsibly, with good humour and with no fuss. (Florence was fine by the way!). Yola had bad experiences with men before she was rescued, and has taken time to trust again - particularly young men. So, this was on my mind when for the first time she had a male sitter alone, with no female partner. I needn’t have worried. On my return Yola was in such a good mood - which is unusual after I’ve been away, even for a couple of days. He really is a find, and I will be booking him again for certain. Schedule
I am free anytime on everyday of the week. I usually like to do activities in the late morning but more than happy to accommodate what is needed of course! **I rely on public transport for getting around as I don't drive. Though every care is taken to arrive on specified times, please have a degree of flexibility with booking start times! However, I will always do the full amount of time that is booked and agreed upon, e.g if you have booked 2 hours of pet care, I will fulfill and document those 2 hours!**
