I have three cats of my own (all successfully introduced as adults), and have spent my whole life taking care of the cats in my family. Over the past few years, I have been regularly caring for my friends pets when they go out of town for extended periods of time. I have cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from kittens to seniors and from outgoing to shy. I am also an artist, and will happily draw a portrait of your cat as an added gift with my care!

Safety, trust & environment
When first cats, I allow them to approach me on their own to get to know me on their own terms. If allowed, I will given them a treat to let them know I am a friend. I will start off my visit by checking their food, giving them fresh water, and cleaning their litter box. Once I have spent this time around them, I will see if they are in the mood to either play or be pet. I will pay attention to their body language before initiating physical affection. If they seem like they are just in the mood to spend time in the same space without much interaction, I will either read a book or draw in my sketchbook so I can keep them company.

I have known Charlie since he was born and have been blessed with witnessing him becoming one of my favorite humans on this planet. Every step of the way, his awareness, natural respect and care has inspired me to pay more attention, always, to the living animals around us. I have seen Charlie love and care for all of their beloved pets, in his family home and beyond. He has cared for my pets, dogs and cats, and those of other family and friends. He is a resource with the truest heart. Charlie has patience with pets that would be a challenge for most pet carers, great focus, intuition and knowledge matched by endless curiosity and love. He is great with rescues, special need animals, always picking up on their quirks and dietary needs as well as knowing how to create the right environment for their mental and physical wellbeing. Charlie is very good with communication and problem solving, always learning, with a constant kind heart. A self starter and responsible human who's love and devotion to animals is contagious and healing.
Cherlie is a fantastic pet sitter! He took great care of both my dog and cat while I was away. I appreciated the regular updates and photos, and it was clear both pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Charlie was careful to follow all the special instructions we had for medication and food preparation and gave both pets a lot of play time. Knowing our fur babies were in such good hands gave me real peace of mind. I highly recommend Charlie for anyone needing reliable and caring pet care!
Charlie was wonderful with my cats! He's very knowledgable about cats' needs, and he's so easy to communicate with. I would definitely feel comfortable having Charlie watch my cats again :-)

Schedule
I work part time at my day job 2-3 days a week from 9-5. I have a very open schedule, able to care for your pet any day whether that be morning, evening, or night. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling throughout the county.
Prices include all fees.
