Availability
We work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows us to give dogs in our care lots of attention throughout the day. We start each weekday with a long morning walk, usually along the seawall, through Stanley Park, or at the nearby off-leash dog beach. Throughout the day, we take regular breaks every couple of hours for short walks, potty breaks, and playtime. Our apartment gets plenty of sun and has cozy spots where dogs can relax between outings. We’re also happy to adapt to your dog’s usual schedule to keep things consistent and stress-free. Dog care isn’t something we “fit in”, it’s something we love doing and happy to build our days around.

Our home is a sunny apartment in the West End, just steps from the seawall and one of the city’s off-leash dog beaches. It’s an ideal spot for dogs who enjoy fresh air, ocean views, and staying active - we’re often out walking, exploring nearby parks, or heading down to the beach. The apartment gets plenty of natural light, and there’s a cozy corner by the window where dogs can relax. We’re happy to have dogs on the couch whatever makes them feel most at home. If your pup loves close company, we’re more than happy to work from the couch to keep them comfortable and close throughout the day. There are also other friendly pets in the building, so it’s a naturally social environment for dogs who enjoy meeting new friends. Whether your dog needs high-energy outings or quiet downtime, we’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

Before your pet’s stay, we'd love to know a few important details to ensure they’re comfortable, safe, and well-cared for: Daily routines – Meals, potty breaks, walk times, and favourite activities. Personality & quirks – Are they playful or shy? Do they have any sensitivities (e.g., loud noises, being alone)? Health & wellness – Any medical needs, allergies, or mobility concerns. Social behaviour – How they respond to other dogs, people, or new environments. Training & habits – Commands they know, and any behaviours you're working on. Please note: We're currently not able to care for dogs who are not potty trained and those which require intensive, specialized care - such as those with severe anxiety, aggressive tendencies, or complex medical needs. This helps ensure we can provide the attention and structure your pet deserves in a calm and happy environment.
A typical day
One of the best parts of pet sitting is all the fun we get to have together. Whether it's playing fetch at the park, going on walks, or a belly rub session. For pups who love to move, we're all about games, outdoor time, and even a bit of training play. For the quieter companions we’ll enjoy gentle play, cozy lounging, or bird-watching by the window. We tailor every activity to your pet’s personality to keep them happy.
