Charlie was a regular walker for my neighbor who recommended him to me as her and her dog's favorite dog walker. I can now confirm that he soon became a favorite in our house as well. Charlie is a take charge walker who quickly established a great rapport with my 100 lb. Golden Retriever. I think Sunny "fell in love" with Charlie on the first walk. Charlie came every day for several weeks while I was recovering from a medical procedure. He was always right on time and got right to the business of a walk. He allowed my dog some sniffing behavior, but pretty much Charlie's walks were with a sense of purpose my dog responded to instantly. Charlie is a tall man and had no trouble controlling my dog who was always over the moon with excitement when he heard Charlie's car! I think Charlie is an ideal person to work with and walk dogs. I am sure he will become a popular walker with the Rover program--he knows dogs, is a positive influence on dogs. There is mutual respect and trust between Charlie and dogs. Charlie deserves an A+ for his work with my neighbor's dog and mine.

I highly recommend Charlie. He is good natured, friendly, responsible, reliable, kind, and caring - a good man. He clearly loves animals. He is gentle, but strong enough to walk the big dogs. My big dog loved Charlie and was so excited when he arrived at the house. I am very happy that I connected with Charlie to help me care for my dog.

Charlie has been taking care of my cat for over 2 years. He is a wonderful pet sitter and very reliable. I highly recommend him!
