During our meet and greet, we’ll talk through your dog’s habits and needs, home instructions, emergency contacts, and your expectations for the stay. We’ll agree on arrival and departure times and how you’d like to receive updates. While you’re away, you can expect thoughtful messages and photos that show how your dog is doing, along with prompt communication if anything needs your attention. I care for dogs in their own homes, surrounded by familiar scents, favourite resting spots, and the routines they know. As a Fear Free Certified sitter trained in Pet First Aid, I pay attention to both physical safety and emotional comfort. Before you leave, we’ll review your dog’s care instructions, walking equipment, household boundaries, veterinary contacts, and emergency arrangements. I’m careful with doors and gates, follow your handling instructions, and give dogs space from unfamiliar animals on walks. I respect their body language and let affection and trust develop at their pace. You’ll receive thoughtful photo updates and prompt communication about anything concerning. I treat your home, keys, belongings, and privacy with care, follow agreed plant and household instructions, and leave the spaces I use clean and orderly. My goal is for you to feel comfortable handing over the keys—and happy when you come home.

Schedule
I work remotely as a consultant, which allows me to spend much of the day at home with the dogs in my care. That means regular companionship, time for walks and bathroom breaks, and a familiar presence between activities. I plan each stay around your dog’s established routines, balancing my work with their meals, exercise, rest, and attention. Before confirming a booking, we’ll discuss how long they’re comfortable being alone and any needs that require closer supervision, so we can make sure my schedule is a good fit. We’ll also coordinate arrival and departure times for a thoughtful handover. Whether you’re away for a weekend or several weeks, my aim is to provide a steady, reassuring rhythm for your dog and peace of mind for you.

- Tell me what makes your dog feel at home: their favourite activities, daily routines, sleeping habits, and the little quirks you know best. I’d also like to understand their health, dietary and medication needs, mobility, and how long they’re comfortable being alone. Please share how they respond to unfamiliar people and dogs, any fears or triggers, and any history of escape attempts, resource guarding, snapping, or biting. Knowing what helps them feel secure allows me to put my Fear Free training into practice, adapting my pace and interactions to their comfort and respecting their boundaries. These details help us establish a good fit and plan thoughtful, consistent care while you’re away.
