Rural Setting
I have a degree in Animal Science and extensive experience working with a variety of different animals, including dogs. This practical and educational experience has provided me with good knowledge and understanding of husbandry practices that will keep your fur babies happy, and prevent avoidable injuries and sickness. I have my own dogs, Raff and Olive (lab x cocker), who are very well behaved, pampered pooches. They are very friendly, and love to play, but are equally happy to just rub alongside with other dogs and only engage in play if all dogs are participating. We (me and my partner) live in the heart of the countryside, so there is access to rivers, woods and huge fields just by walking through the garden gate. However, I am a keen nature lover, and often enjoy exploring Essex/Hertfordshire and all the walks on offer, so there will be something new to keep your pooches stimulated. I love to see dogs bouncing around and exploring new places; and get a huge sense of satisfaction, when after a good walk and play, the dogs minds are settled, and bodies are tired, so they flop down on a lovely comfy bed and drift off to sleep. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets with a stranger, and so I can assure you, whilst your pooches are with me, they would be treated as if they were my own, with tailored care to suit yours and their needs. Maximus had a wonderful time with Charlie! He went on some cracking walks and loved playing with Raff and Olive. I had no worries about leaving him and Charlie sent photos and videos with an update a couple of times a day. I thoroughly recommend her.
Charlie was very accommodating when I needed to change booking at short notice. A lovely friendly setting and atmosphere for my dog and he clearly had a wonderful day, photos sent were appreciated. He was clearly in good hands. He’s looking forward to his longer stay next month.
Hutch had a lovely stay at Charli’s. She was really professional and attentive to his needs, keeping us up to date regularly with lots of pictures. She was very reassuring as it was our first time leaving our puppy in someone else’s care. Hutch is looking forward to his next stay in a few days!
Charlie was amazing with Benji and Maya for our wedding. She treated them like her own so much so that Maya went back to sleep when we picked her up. It was definitely a home away from home for our dogs. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Charlie!
I have left Chad with Charlie few times now,Love Charlie have no problem leaving Chad he in good hands x
Absolutely brilliant sitter. Charlie really understood working with an anxious dog who doesn’t like to be away from us or left alone and catered for her needs perfectly (with the help of her two friendly pups!). Highly recommend and will definitely be in touch again next time we need cover for Clover.

I have only given availability for when I am home all day. Your dogs will be supervised at all times and will be cared for alongside my own dogs Raff and Olive

I have a secure garden and a pet friendly home. Very aware of toxicities that are present in house and garden and ensure none of them are available to dogs.
