I started walking dogs and dog and cat sitting when I was 14, and these last 5 years worked at a dog daycare where I applied positive reinforcement and learned about how dogs learn and understand things. I also learned how to trim nails and administer oral, topical and dropper method medications, and I have experience with administering intramuscular injections. I’m also a lifelong pet owner with two cats and a dog of my own who are all best friends!

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure to keep your animals safely fenced and behind closed doors, and carefully on leash when with me on walks! I’m also careful to keep danger foods and items they can get into like medications put away where they can’t get to them. Making sure your animal has constant access to clean water, their food and meds as appropriate and their safety in the home and when we’re out on walks is of utmost importance to me, as is making sure I’m a comforting fun presence for them for walks, visits or sitting, especially if you’re out of town!

Charlie went above and beyond taking care of my dog on 4th of July. They already had a plan in place for safe walking considering the severe heat and left a nature video on for the afternoon to help drown the noise of the flyovers! Would rebook Charlie any day, highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m currently taking in person classes 12:30-3 M-Th but outside of that I’m at home studying and ready to take care of your pet as many times a day as needed, short notice is totally fine!
