We consider our guest dogs members of the family. Dogs are always supervised in our fenced and secure back yard, and in the home as well. We walk our guests with our dogs Zachary and Bailey every day, usually 30 to 45 minutes, and we specialize in supervised pack therapy and socialization. Zachary sleeps in his crate in our bedroom and so do many of our guests. If guest dogs are not crate trained we can work on that or provide a private sleeping room for this purpose. For puppies less than one year old we charge $45 per day. With puppies the training is continuous including sit, stay, recall, leash walking, house training, door manners, etc. We provide the training treats, poop bags, and TLC. We do not accept dogs that are not spayed or neutered except for puppies. Please contact us to discuss your dog's special needs. Our typical care day is 24 hours and we tend to not enforce this too strictly. However, if your schedule requires an early drop off and/or a late pickup resulting in an extra 6 to 8 hours of care, we may charge $25 for the additional time.* * Apparently, there is still some confusion about the hours of care covered by a one day charge. If for example a client drops a dog at 8AM on a Saturday for a one day stay, and does not return to pick up the dog until 4PM on Sunday, clearly this is more than a one day stay. And clearly we should be compensated for loving and caring for this dog for the additional 8 hours. We do not time our guest stays with a stopwatch, but if your dog's stay will be more than 24 hours, then please plan for an additional charge and work this out with us in advance so that we can be compensated fairly for our care of your dog.
