Schedule

I have watched a variety of dogs from a 4lb Maltese to a 150lb Great Dane. I am used to special diets, giving oral or injection meds as my own pup takes some, and any special accommodations you might have. I send daily updates with pictures/videos. I’ve been doing Rover since March of 2017 and more so the past 4 years. I live with my fiancé who does this full time with me. This helps so dogs are rarely left home alone

Safety, trust & environment

We have a big fenced yard, I usually have a few play sessions out there and after lunchtime I go out throw some balls and can play fetch, go on walks or the park down the road, or just have fun snuggling on the couch. Depending on the weather I love to sit out in the fresh air especially when the weather is nice! Winter time I do quicker potty breaks if really cold, and make a path in the snow for smaller dogs.

Pets

A typical day

Not only do we have lots of toys but mental stimulation toys also to keep them mentally and physically busy. This includes puzzles, snuffle mats, licki mats, Kong’s. We have a big fenced in yard to run around in and different parks and areas to walk around nearby. Or we can just cuddle up inside on the couch and give lots of cuddles! I live with my fiance who does this full time with me so he is able to stay home during the day if I need to run out or vice versa so the animals at our house don’t have to be alone much at all and potty breaks every few hours. We have crates for dogs crate trained, and a spare room dedicated for dogs. We have our own dog Princess who loves playing with the other dogs and becoming best friends. She also knows to give older dogs space. Before this we had our 16 year old dog Lady who did this with us but she passed February 2021. Our cat Tripp doesn’t mind dogs, but we have the ability to seperate him if necessary and it’s no big deal.

I’ve been doing this full time for over 6 years and pride myself in great service. I’ve previously volunteered at PAWS and Bravehearts with horses. Your pet will definitely be safe with me! And my reviews can show some of the good feedback heard. In order to provide the safest environment for both my dog and boarding/daycare dogs, I require each dog to be up to date on flea and tick prevention as well as shots. I check upon arrival and will not be able to provide services if fleas are found. If fleas are found midstay- a flea bath/treatment charge will need to be added. Thank you for helping keep every pup flea free and happy! Every pet should be up to date on Bordatella shot. However, the kennel cough vaccine is similar to the flu vaccine. There is always still a possibility of a communicable cough similarly to humans going to school and catching a cold there. I take precautions and ask for dogs to please remain home if showing signs of contagious disease no matter how small. Thank you!! I don’t mind giving medicine to pets, just let me know instructions and I’m more then happy to and do often with the dogs I watch
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
