Hello fellow dog lovers. With 15 years experience raising and caring for dogs, I am looking forward to providing your furry family the best attention and care. My first two dogs have passed and we currently have 3 dogs, all rescues. I have experience with medications and dogs with difficulties. My second dog (Winston) lived with Type I diabetes and required daily insulin injections and a strict feeding schedule. One of my current dogs (Mickey) has severe anxiety and requires daily pills and regular clicker training to help him live his best life. We've had dogs from 20lbs. up to 90lbs, bully breeds, mixes, etc. I've received training in K9 CPR and K9 Heimlich Maneuver. I've trained all of our dogs to use a doggy door as well as basic commands.

Understanding that your pets time away from you can be stressful, I aim to provide a routine that can lower that stress and ensure they are at ease and comfortable until your return. Whether that’s play time or extra belly scratches, we will work to identify their needs before you leave. I can administer medicines as needed including pills, injections, etc. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical needs, etc.

It was so nice having a responsible sitter for our two big dogs. Charles kept us updated so we knew they (and the plants and turtles etc) were being well taken care of; it makes such a difference when we don’t have to worry about our boys when we’re away!
Charles was perfect! Especially for our senior pit who needs some extra accommodations. We only have good things to say.
Charles has been great! He took great care of Henry; giving him lots walks and head scratches, and he went above and beyond by sleeping downstairs to keep him company at night. We’re both so grateful.
Charles was attentive and responsive with my active pups! He sent lots of pictures and the dogs reported that they had a great time with ample exercise and attention.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I do have a regular 8-5 job. On weekdays I can provide morning and evening care and overnight stays. Weekends offer more flexibility. Even though I have my own dogs, they have my family to take care of them while I dedicate time for yours. I am available Monday-Friday for morning and evening drop-ins and overnight stays. I am available on Saturday and Sunday throughout the day for more drop-ins in addition to overnight stays.
