I will be working from home and will provide your dog with very close care including bathroom breaks as frequently as needed as well as two longer walks up to ~5 miles.

As detailed a primer/info sheet as you want to provide is always very much appreciated. Specifically, any unique preferences or triggers to avoid (particularly on walks) are very necessary pieces information to know ahead of time so that we can avoid any surprises or dangerous situations. A typical day
While I've talked about long walks around the Rosslyn area, fetch behind the apartment, and movies + belly rubs in the evenings, I also like to provide clients with a set of professionally taken and edited photos of their dog. I've worked part-time creating digital media since college and I really enjoy using those skills to capture special moments with your best friend that you can keep forever.

Pet care experience
Living in the Northern Virginia/DC area and providing walking, boarding, and drop in visits with a strict emphasis on 1:1 care. I'm originally from Boston, Massachusetts and have lived in the DC area since I graduated Georgetown University in 2015. I work remotely in the defense space with a focus on Eastern Europe. I grew up owning and caring for both dogs and cats from a young age and have experience with all sizes, ages, and dispositions. As a teenager, I established a local pet care business and provided care for over ~300 individual dogs + cats without incident. Since beginning Rover in 2017, I have provided unanimous five-star care for over ~100 clients and their pets without incident. As a former All-American soccer player, I continue to prioritize fitness and make staying active an integral part of my daily life. I'd love to take your dog for a brisk, multiple-mile walk or for a long, high energy fetch session in my apartment's fenced in area. (I'm also equally happy to hang on the couch and watch a movie from my Letterboxd if that's more your dog's speed). Working from home, I set my own schedule/hours and have been so lucky to meet and spend quality time with some truly wonderful dogs and cats 'Rover'ing' for the last seven years. I diligently update my calendar/availability to block out any periods during which work commitments would prevent me from providing your dog with the exceptional care they deserve. My dog had an fantastic stay with Charlie. From the initial meet and greet through drop off and pick up, I really appreciated Charlie’s attention to detail and excellent communication. It was clear from the start that he was focused on making sure my dog had the best stay possible. Charlie has helping us out with walking Luna for about a year now but this was the first time Luna boarded with him. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! He was incredibly responsive and shared updates on Luna throughout the stay. And even when Luna had a tiny bit of tummy troubles, he kept us informed about it without causing alarm. We felt like Luna was in safe and reliable hands throughout her stay! We’re so grateful and look forward to entrusting Luna to him again during future travels!
