My Best Friends Are Dogs
I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long.

Charles was great with my high energy girl. She had a great fenced in yard to wander and a convenient dog door as well. She got along great with his dog Pippa. Charles was also very accommodating and kind enough to pick her up and drop her off while I had my car in the shop. I would definitely use Charles as a sitter again!
My girl played well with Charles's dog and she was worn out in a good way!
Charles did an excellent job at taking care of our very senior dog. He sent pics every day and updated us to how he was doing, how he was responding to him and his dog, and that he seemed comfortable with his surroundings. I really do appreciate his caring attitude toward Zeus; that gave us peace of mind while we were vacationing. We will definitely ask him to care for Zeus on our next vacation, and I will pass on to my friends that Charles is a wonderful canine caregiver. I appreciate Charles and Rover!
Charlie cared for three of my pups over the years. When my dog, Spike, got older, Charlie had no problem giving oral meds and helping Spike with his mobility issues. He provides a caring home with plenty of stimulation for the pups in his care. Your dog is sure to love their stay with Charlie!

Schedule
I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties.

I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.
