Farm Kid Turned Dog Whisperer
I grew up in a very small town of 700 people in the middle of Minnesota, where I spent nearly every day on my grandparents' dairy farm. I cared for dogs, cats, and cows at all stages of their lives—from energetic puppies to senior animals needing extra attention. Growing up, we always had pets around, but my favorites were our golden retriever and my grandparents’ loyal German shepherd. Since moving to Seattle, I’ve consistently watched my friend’s two doodles and absolutely love it. I’m not a full-time pet sitter, just someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and is looking to spend a few weekends giving pets the love and care they deserve. I live right near the 24-hour pet hospital, which gives me extra peace of mind in case of emergencies. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or senior care, your pet will be in kind, capable hands with me!

Charles was an excellent host for our pup Kenobi. We had another sitter cancel day-of and he was great accommodating us for this last minute booking. He communicated every day and managed Kenobi’s reactivity easily. Kenobi is more wary of men, but he settled in and became comfortable with Charles very quickly. Thanks Charles for taking such great care of our Pup!
Chuck was a great host for our 90 pound doodle. He communicated well, followed our instructions and sent great pictures. Will definitely book him again.
Chuck did a great job with Mondo on our weekend away. He was very flexible and willing to meet up the day before we left in order to meet Mondo. He provided multiple updates and was able to go on a lot of nice walks with Mondo. Mondo was able to feel right at home in his apartment and really loved hanging out on his balcony, watching people and dogs go by. I would highly recommend and happily have him watch Mondo again

Schedule
I currently work full time, but from home on Fridays and Mondays with a good amount of flexibility. This allows plenty of time for walks, drop-offs, and pickups. I’m especially looking for opportunities over long weekends to provide care.

I currently live in a small condo complex with easy access to nearby parks and the Wallingford neighborhood, which is great for walks and outdoor time. In my home, I create a calm and safe environment, making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow any specific routines or preferences shared by the owner, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, or medication. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and prioritize keeping their pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged, so depending on their energy level and personality, we’ll go on walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks, have plenty of playtime with toys or games like fetch, and enjoy some good cuddle time if they’re into that! For pets that enjoy a bit more stimulation, I also like to incorporate basic training games or puzzle toys to keep their minds active. My goal is always to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and having fun while in my care.
