Work from home. Do dedicated dog walks twice a day. Dogs will have access to inside and outside the house via doggy door. Dry food and water always out (unless requested otherwise). Hangout in the living room with family for tv/game night. Couches pretty much have permanent blankets that we change out. Typically give little bits of our cooked meals to dogs (unless requested otherwise).

Dog(s) will be assessed with me first, then integrate dogs with environment/other dog(s), Dogs will be given a guided tour by me to show the boundary’s of the yard and see how well they do with the doggy door (some training or magnetic screen maybe needed. Dog will need to be washed if observed fleas are present. I will provide the dog(s) a bath to prevent fleas from coming into and out of my house. I will adhere to any rules/policies you request.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve helped care for our family dogs. I have a talent to get along with dogs and even train them on accident.

Charles cared for my very macho and territorial Yorkie/Chihuahua Lucky for a week I had to travel for business. I was so anxious to leave Lucky with anyone because of how much separation anxiety he gets (usually I work from home with him all day). Charles instantly alleviated my anxieties and Lucky's during drop off. the introduction was really careful and intentional and he brought treats to make friends with Lucky. Every day I received pictures of Lucky enjoying his little vacation, like out on walks by the lake and luxuriating on the couch lol. Charles was very responsive to my messages requesting updates. When it was time to bring Lucky home, he was so happy and at peace.
