Hello, I would like to say I have had the joy of having dogs and petsitting throughout my life and have loved every aspect of it. My dog, Holly, lived to be 18 years old under my care. I took care of her from when she was a puppy until the end of her senior years so I have a wide range of knowledge on aging dogs. I have a lot of energy so keeping up with a dogs' exercise needs will be no problem. And to me, dogs are family. My dog was like a little sister to me so I understand the trust involved in letting someone else take care of them. I can assure you I have a wealth of compassion for animals, and, given the opportunity, I will care for your dog as if they were my own. Safety, trust & environment
My home has 2 locked doors to get in and is in a very safe part of Somerville. I currently have a gecko who I feed daily and ensure he has a balanced diet and regular vet appointments as well as enrichment. When I had dogs and cats in the past I was outside for hours every day playing with them and making sure their lives were happy and fun. It brings me a lot of joy to see animals happy and enjoying life. Their lives are so short I want to make every moment a great one.

Charles was a nanny to my children for 3 years. He was a very hands on, and interactive caretaker which is why I chose him. He would not allow the children to be on electronic devices instead he would involve them in either art projects, crafts or playing games. It was apparent that he cared for their wellbeing, and the kids genuinely loved having him. They thought of him as a companion, but whom they also respected. Charles would often bring his black lab over to play with the children. He has a very strong connection with animals and children and it is apparent when you spend any amount of time with him. He is a very empathetic, responsible, and caring person whom I trusted with the care of my children and was beyond satisfied with how he managed them. I only wish he hadn't moved because we all miss him dearly!
I highly recommend Charlie! He treated my dog as if it were his own! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and caring, He’s your guy!
I first had Charlie watch my 2 cats and dog when he was 12. He has a real way with animals, he was always rescuing hurt animals and took good care of all the pets he's had over the years, he's had a lizard for 10 years I believe. Charlie is my nephew and he's going to school for animal science in the spring, I trust him with my pets and I think he'd be up to any challenge or needs your pets have.
Charles is an excellent pet caregiver, I have never felt so safe leaving my dog Maxi with him, except family! He really enages with your dog and gives them the love and attention they need, he really loves animals and it shows. He doesnt give them too many treats and makes sure they get enough exercise which I appreciate. I continue to use Charles as Maxi's babysitter and I would recommend him to others!

Schedule
My schedule is pretty flexible. As of this month I have all day Thursday and Friday available as well as the rest of the week as long as the pet care ends by 2pm. If this doesn't work for you please reach out so we can find a solution! I will keep this updated as my schedule opens up.
