I graduated from Martin Community College for the Equine Training and Business Management program in May of 2025. I work as an assistant horse trainer full time now, however have plenty of time before I go to the barn and afterwards to check on your fur babies. I can even swing by during my lunch break!

While I am open to caring for all types of dogs, I appreciate knowing of any behavioral problems that may arrive. This would include anxiety and high stress, or possible aggression. My goal is to keep myself, your pet, and everyone else safe!
A typical day
I love to play fetch and go on long walks. If there is availability to go on walks or play in an open area, I will certainly take advantage of it to exercise your dog to his or her needs!

I have owned and cared for dogs and cats since I was little, but have consistently caring for them on my own for nearly 8 years. I have dog and cat sat for friends several times and have always gotten good comments back. I love animals, and am always eager to do my best to provide for the animal in the best way possible.

Charlene has been a fantastic sitter for our two dogs and two cats. She took time to do a meet and greet with them and was very patient, ensuring our dogs were comfortable with her. Both dogs now absolutely love her, really putting our minds at ease while we were away for a week. We will certainly be reaching out to get any time we need a sitter!
Charlene is great with communication and wonderful with our animals. When first meeting our dogs she was patient and and understanding of needing to move slow when first meeting them. She’s been easy to work with and really has put our minds at ease as we were worried about finding a sitter in a new area.
Charlene was AMAZING with my dogs! She was attentive, flexible and caring! She took pictures of my fur babies and sent them to me while they were on her care! I never worried a single minute while I was away from them! I will definitely be calling on Charlene again.
