I have loved animals since I was a little girl, and have always been drawn to take in strays and animals who need a home. I have my own cats, and sometimes sit my Granddog, Theo. I have learned a small amount of dog training from owners whose dogs I have provided care for. I have also nursed my senior cat through old age and death at the old age of 21.

I will be caring for your pet(s) in your home. I can do drop-ins to feed, play with, and/or walk your animals for either 30 minutes or one hour.

Charlene went above and beyond to help care for my girl! My dog is super sweet and lovable, but does have significant dog reactivity and aggression. Charlene came to meet her ahead of time to ensure she felt comfortable and it turned out to be a great match! She was a great communicator and sent the best pictures! I could tell my pooch was LOVING her visits!
Charlene took great care of our Lucy! Our pup doesn't get along with strangers. It takes time for her to warm up to people, but Charlene made friends with her instantly. I trust our dog's judge of character & truly believe Charlene is a blessing.
My Standard Poodle, Golden Doodle, Miniature Schnauzer and 2 cats just love Charlene! They are excited to see her when she comes and really enjoy playing and snuggling with her. Charlene tries to learn the family pet ‘rules’ and likes to practice commands with them and give them treats. The dogs listen to her and are excited for her attention. We’ve been glad to have her as a pet sitter when we went out of town and been satisfied with our pets being well taken care of.
I've known Charlene B for 25 years and she is the first person I would always ask anytime I needed someone to care for my pets. I knew I could count on her to look after them as though they were hers and she always did. My pets wouldn't hesitate to go to her when she would visit because they liked her and were comfortable with her.

Schedule
My schedule will be variable around another job, so I may be best for short term jobs such as to cover vacations, etc. However, you may have a routine need that will fit well with my other job if our situations fit well together.
