Availability

I have a work from home job and am almost always available. We do a walk every evening which would be included with boarding if that’s what you’d like. We usually do outside potty breaks every few hours which are monitored from the porch. Pets are never left alone unsupervised simply to make sure everyone is taken care of correctly.

Safety, trust & environment

Pets in my care are treated like part of the family. They stay indoors with me for most of the day and are always supervised when outside. Our property has plenty of fenced space for safe play and exercise, and I’m very hands-on with the animals I care for. When a new pet arrives, I take time to do slow, calm introductions and make sure everyone feels comfortable. If any pet needs their own space, I have plenty of room to safely separate animals as needed. I’m experienced with dogs who may feel anxious in new environments and work to keep routines calm and positive so they can settle in quickly. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Information Charity A. would like to know about your pet

I have a lot of time in my day and lots of experience to make sure any accommodations can be met. I like knowing their normal routine at home to make pets as comfortable as possible.

A typical day

I usually wake up around 7am and let everyone out. I typically have dogs following me around while I do morning chores in the house. From there dogs stay inside with me while I do work from home. We do a morning feed in the dining room area, guest pets get separated simply To ensure everyone is getting along. I encourage bringing toys as usually after breakfast I allow the dogs to digest and calmly play time we go outside for a bit. When the sun starts to set we usually go out for our walk. Then it’s dinner time before the night routine which consists of the last potty break and settling in on the couch before bed

Pet care experience

Animal lover with years of experience raising and training dogs. We live on a small farm with plenty of room to play safely with a large fully fenced yard, but pets stay mostly indoors and are treated like part of the family. I can provide daily walks, lots of attention, and regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I provide puppy training and senior dog care as well, I am familiar with administering medications including injectables as I’ve had a pet with diabetes. No matter what your pet may need, I will provide!

Charity is not like other Rover sitters—she goes above and beyond to create a home-like experience for your pet. My dog wasn't confined to a crate, but instead enjoyed sleeping on a regular dog bed, just like at home. Charity's beautiful house and big backyard were perfect for my dog to play and relax. She sent me several updates, and even took my dog for walks, which reassured me that she was having a great time while I was away. I will definitely use Charity again!
