After 30 rewarding years of working with children and adults with special needs, I have recently retired and am bringing my lifetime of patience, empathy, and intuitive care to your beloved pets. I understand that every animal is a unique individual. My career taught me how to read subtle body language and provide a calm, reassuring presence. Whether your dog wants to curl up on the couch for endless cuddles or a shy, anxious friend needs gentle space and time to warm up, I naturally adapt to their emotional needs. As a proud owner of a sweet senior dog myself, I am well-versed in the slower paces, gentle handling, and extra TLC that older pets require.

I cannot bring pets to my home at this time. Though I have a large fenced in yard, my senior girl might have trouble with company if she’s having a tough day with her arthritis.

Charissa is wonderful, caring, generous and responsible! She has two fur babies of her own and she loves them so much! I would trust Charissa to care of our Fur Baby! She is very patient and understanding! I would highly recommend her to watch, walk and love my Fur Baby
We have been neighbors with Charissa for some time now and she is one of the kindest sweetest people you could ever know. They have 2 dogs which they care for in the same way they do their own children. They are protective of the dogs when necessary, always get them them the veterinarian care they need. They have a nice big yard to run in and Charissa keeps them active. Charissa works with special needs kids so she has lots of patience and compassion for all God's creatures. Would use her to watch my own dogs without a thought.

I can be available during the week or on weekends in the mornings afternoons or evenings for drop ins, belly scratches, walks, meals, and whatever else your pet needs.
