Fun fact: I was born with a tooth, and I’ve still had dogs longer than that. Dogs have been part of my family literally since birth. We’ve had Pekingese, Pomeranians, Rottweilers, and now I’ve got a Jack Russell–Yorkie mix who thinks he runs the block (he kind of does). From teething puppies to slow-strolling seniors, I’ve cared for dogs at every age and energy level. I’m more than a sitter: I’m a nap buddy, a squeaky toy hype person, and the kind of person who claps when a dog poops in the right spot. I know how to read dog body language, manage different temperaments, and keep your pet’s routine consistent so they feel safe, loved, and totally at home.

Charise was great with our dog Maggie. I could tell that she felt very comfortable staying at her home. Charise is a great communicator treated Maggie as part of her family. We will definitely use her again.

We are so glad we trusted Charise to watch our dog for two weeks! She did an amazing job with our cattle dog, who can be a little shy at first, but she seemed to have an awesome time with Charise and Navi. It was clear she felt comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. Charise has a great backyard for the dogs to play in, and she kept us updated with pictures and thorough communication the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so happy we found Charise and would absolutely trust her with our dog again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. As an educator, I'm home plenty during the summer months, which means your dog will get lots of attention, playtime, and love throughout the day. During the school year, I'm typically home by 3:30 p.m., leaving a ton of time for walks, backyard play, and couch cuddles. I offer boarding seven days a week and only host one family's dog(s) at a time. This allows me to provide a calm, personalized experience where your dog can feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have a fenced front yard and a large, secure backyard where dogs can run, play, sniff around, or simply relax and soak up the sunshine. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, they'll have plenty of space to feel at home. closely follow any feeding, walking, and medication routines you provide because I know how important consistency is. To help keep things calm and stress-free, I only board one family's dogs at a time. This allows me to give each dog the individual attention, care, and affection they deserve. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. I don't take that responsibility lightly. Every dog who stays with me is treated like one of my own.

A typical day
Every stay includes backyard zoomies, neighborhood walks, window-watching, belly rubs, and lots of love and attention. I tailor activities to each dog's personality and energy level so they can have fun and feel at home.
