Joe & Charis - Reliable couple who love dogs!
Based in a cozy ground floor flat in West Bridgford, Nottingham, we’re a couple of lifelong pet lovers excited to care for your furry family members. Although we don’t have a dog of our own at the moment, we do have a passion for pups: • Joe’s Experience: Growing up with dogs and caring for his own family golden retriever and golden doodle, Joe has years of hands-on experience to pet care. He regularly looks after his parents’ golden doodle when they go on holiday, whether it’s for a few days or a couple of weeks. Joe also has experience looking after friends’ cats, so he’s comfortable with a range of pets. • Charis’s Background: Charis has grown up around dogs, particularly border collies, in her extended family and has a natural understanding of dog behavior and needs. Together, we have been dog sitting via Rover for over a year.

Charis and Joe are fantastic with Alfie. We’re worried he might like them more than us! So thrilled to have found such caring dog sitters for our pup. We book Alfie in regularly and he gets super excited every time we get near their door!
Charis and Joe were absolutely amazing. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to look after Meadow. They instantly put my mind at ease, and it was so lovely seeing how Meadow warmed to them and how patient they were while helping her settle in and feel loved. They gave me daily updates and pictures, which was wonderful, it was great to see how happy she was. They followed all the instructions I left and, most importantly, spoiled her with lots of cuddles and love. I would absolutely trust them to look after Meadow again.

Alfie loved being with Charis for the day. Before booking, Charis was happy to answer all our anxious questions (having never left our dog before) and she kept us updated through the day with photos and videos. We will definitely be using Charis again and I know that Alfie can’t wait!
Charis and Joe made Sids holiday with them very comfortable. I went away with peace of mind knowing Sid was in good hands we had feed back from them through the holiday so we knew he was enjoying his stay I would highly recommend Charis and Joe and really hope we can book them again next year

Schedule
We offer a variety of pet care options, including dog walking, pet sitting, daycare, and boarding. Joe works from home four days a week and Charis three days a week, ensuring there’s always someone around to give your pet the attention and love they deserve all day.

Although we don’t have a garden, the building has a courtyard at the back and we’re just 2 minutes walk from Bridgford Park, where your dog can enjoy some fresh air and exercise. We can flexibly take breaks at work to get your dog a walk and fresh air according to their usual routine.
A typical day
We will welcome your dog by settling them in and making them comfortable before we can head out for a walk to Bridgford Park - just two minutes walk round the corner from our ground floor flat. As we work from home we are able to take flexible breaks to walk your dog, give them some exercise or some play time - similarly they can relax whilst we work and we can follow their usual routine. Later in the day we can take them for another walk, again keeping their routine in mind. We will make sure your dog feels comfortable and at ease and we’re happy to share photo updates throughout the day so you can see how your dog is doing.
