My oldest dog, Rona is a 50lb 6 year old pit mix. My youngest dog Gemma is a 175lb 5 year old English mastiff. After 3+ years my dogs and I have had plenty of experience hosting dogs of all flavors of personalities. My back yard is fenced in and the side door that leads to it has a dog door. We typically have bathroom breaks every few hours or so until bed time. Upon arrival guest dogs and their human walk about the house and back yard to get the scents of everyone who lives within before re-meeting my dogs. I like to schedule a meet and greet before hand to see if all doggies will get along. I have discovered that some dogs are wary of large breed dogs. My Mastiff is VERY friendly and loves all dogs but unfortunately the love isn't always returned kindly.

Information Charei J. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs I can account for. Like if your dog has medicine that they have to take. Do they need to be fed separately? Do they have any allergies? Is your dog reactive to other dogs barking at them on walks. Can I walk your dog with mine?
A typical day
Mon to Fri. Rona works as a service dog at a local school. So she is gone until the afternoon. Gemma, your dog(s) and I may (Weather and time if year permitting) play in the back yard, take walks around the neighborhood or go to our local dog park. If your dog is more of a stay at home dog we can do that too. The backyard is surrounded by a six foot fence. Weekends are a toss up. Sometimes it's more of the same as during the week with Rona in tow. Other times weather permitting and time of year we go to more unique dog friendly places like the drive-in or the dog beach. All of which depends on a guest dog's permissions of activity from their owner, reactivity level and recall ability.

Dog mom turned sitter.
Pet care experience
In the past I had 1 childhood fur sibling (Yorkshire terrier) for 13 years. Currently I am dog mom to two fur babies. My oldest is a 6 year old 50lb pit mix and youngest is a 5 year old 175lb English Mastiff. In past years I ran an Airbnb out of my home in which I have hosted several dog guests with their human companions. My dogs are always excited to meet a new friend that visits. In the event a guest dog doesn't favor mine our policy was to keep everyone separate alternating food and bathroom breaks. My backyard is fenced with a six foot fence and the dogs can play or use the bathroom back there.
Reviews
Charei J. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.

I had a great experience! My flight was unexpectedly canceled at the last minute, which completely changed my travel plans. Thankfully, Charei was incredibly flexible and understanding. Charei worked with me to modify the booking and even allowed me to pick up my dog 9 days earlier than originally planned without any hassle. That level of flexibility and kindness meant a lot during a stressful situation. I really appreciate their communication and willingness to work with me. I would absolutely book with Charei again and highly recommend them to other pet parents!

I’m so glad I found Charei on Rover. She took excellent care of my girl Cassie and ensured she got her midday dose of medication. I received pictures of Cassie and Gemma on their walk and feedback throughout the day I felt confident Cassie was in good hands.

Charei and her spouse were amazing to my babies. They spoiled my girls and sent daily pics and videos. They are also very knowledgeable about dogs in general and did not have to worry about a thing. Will definitely book again in the future!!
