Pet care experience

25 Years of Experience

I have cared for dogs for the past 25 years. I began volunteering in shelters, and vet offices at a early age. I have worked full time in both regular and emergency vet offices. In the past years I have continued to pet and house sit for many of those past vet office clients. I take my pet sitting seriously, because my clients have trusted me with their fur babies. I want my clients to rest easy knowing that their pets will be in good hands, your fur baby will be one of the family while you are away. If you have questions I will gladly answer. I love meeting new clients and their pets.

Dog Walking • ago 28, 2019

Charcie has been walking Sugar for months, maybe a year, and it has been wonderful. She is so conscientious and reliable. Rain or shine Sugar gets walked. Charcie is great with last minute adjustments or if we just need unexpected help with Sugar. It is such a comfort knowing Charcie is there. Thank you Charcie.

Charcie did a wonderful job taking care of our Standard Poodle while we were on vacation. We received daily pictures, videos and updates. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our fur baby was being cared for in such a loving manner. Charcie's experience in the veterinary field made us feel more at ease knowing she could handle any issue that may arise. We highly recommend Charcie and will definitely use her in the future!

Charice is an amazing pet sitter. She is also an amazing vet tech who is very proficient in handling of stressed, anxious and scared pets. She is proficient in medicating pets who need oral medications, subcutaneous injections, and even subcutaneous fluids. Animals just love her! If you need an experienced vet tech to care for you fur baby look no further than Charcie!

Can’t say enough about Charcie. Takes such great care of our 3 dogs when we are gone. Friendly and so easy to work with! She makes it much more easy to go out of town without our animals!

The number one thing I worried about when I went out of town was if my baby would be okay. It was hard to figure out who to leave him with or if I should take him to a kennel for a few days. A friend of mine told me about Charcie and how great of a job she did taking care of their babies. I thought why not and decided to use her while we were out of town. She took such good care of him he looked almost sad to see us walk through the door instead of her. Needless to say we will be using Charcie again next time we go out of town!

Schedule

I work for myself, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work around different clients schedules and be in and out as needed. Our daily schedule revolves around who will be home to watch over our dogs.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Myself and my family are always available at home so my own pets don't have to wait for activities and potty breaks. Pets can be loose in our home when fully potty trained or crated as needed. It's whatever the client request as the norm for their pet.

Pets

A typical day

We live in a quiet development at the end of a cul-de-sac, we also have a beautiful walking trail 1/2 a mile away from our home that is shaded. Our own dogs enjoy the area and walks both here and there.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Unspayed females accepted, neutered males only
Crate-trained dogs only
Charcie can host up to 2 pets per night
Our home is open to all breeds. If there is anything your pet is uncomfortable about I want to know it. Are they scared of storms, the mail man, other dogs, or loud noises? I want them to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I only require that dogs staying in our home are on current flea medications, up to date on vaccines.
