Myself and partner both work however but our shifts are different making it easy to care for your pet. Early afternoon finishes for hubby. Late morning starts for me and we also have the weekends off. The longest they would be left is for approximately 4 hours till someone is back home. Hubby works out and about in his van so can always pop in for puppy pats and treats. we would be happy to take two dogs from the same home to board at our home. we can offer pop ins if near by early in the morning or lunch time, also walks in the afternoon and evening.

Information Chantelle W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any issues with other dog and we will find a quieter place to walk them. Any allergies, any medication, likes and dislikes. Bring any toys or bedding that your pup would prefer, a piece of your clothing I find is helpful so your pet can still smell your scent. Some dog often get anxiety when their owners leave them in a strange environment which is the last thing we want to happen. Also most importantly let me know if your dogs a chewer and toilet trained. you would provide all that is needed for your pet, ie bedding, food, toys (although we do have a supply) . Also a list of how your pet like their day to go from walks to where they like to sleep.
A typical day
Looking after your dog will be our top priority. We typically walk your pet first thing in the morning. Back home for breakfast. Lunch time pop ins, late afternoon walks and if needed a walk around the block before bedtime. Lots of belly rubs are guaranteed. I also have pet cameras set up in the house with noise and movement alerts so I’m always checking up on your pup when not at home. Hubby works in the community and often pops by the house for check ups on your beloved pet.

Pet care experience
Life time enjoyment of caring for pets. I’ve grown up with every type of animal from living on a farm. My love for pets has no limits. I grew up in Guernsey the wonderful smaller isle of the Channel Islands, and have moved to Portsmouth almost 2 years ago, I had been looking after my work Colleagues dogs and then he mentioned this fantastic app Rover so thought I’d join in the fun and have dogs around me more often and I love it!! I would love to help with your pets care, from a hamster to a dog I am happy to help where I can. let me help you enjoy your holiday or event you may have planned by taking out the worry of what can you do with your pet. We are both DBS credited so you will have peace of mind your home will be in safe hands. We can watch your dog and why not bring your hamster for a holiday to! We have pet cameras linked to the phones so know your pets every move whilst out of the home, they are motion and noise activated so rest assured we are always watching. We also work on the town whilst hubby is driving around doing maintenance he will go home for toilet brakes and puppy cuddles 🥰 I also work 5 minutes from the house and have the ability to leave my work place at anytime. I work mixed hours so your pets are never left for more than 4 hours.
Reviews

I’ve been using rover for years and have never had an issue until now. I requested Chantelle to look after coco Friday till Sunday as I was heading out of town for a family event. I dropped him off on Friday and all was fine however I then got a message Saturday morning claiming coco “tore up” the carpet and he needed to be collected. Now this alarmed me and my family as in his 4+ years with us and 2 staying with sitters coco has never destroyed anything in his life, not even his toys. When I arrived and she showed me the picture he did not tear up anything and it just looked like a piece of string was pulled from the carpet (you could barely see anything in the picture and Chantelle admitted that herself whilst zooming into the picture). After I left with coco she then claimed he “damaged” the garden and when I questioned this she said rover has the pictures and ignored me. I ended up calling rover to fully understand what the situation was since they have reviewed all the pictures and spoken with Chantelle. They were very apologetic about what happened and they put me at ease and explained what the “damages” were (they said it was nothing outside of normal dog behaviour).

Chantelle was great really accommodating with drop off and pickup times, she also sent lots of photo updates. Mabel came home a very happy pooch. Would definitely use again.
Rupert was happy to see Chantelle again and instantly felt at home. Everything went smoothly and Chantelle sent me some photos during the visit and kept me updated so I knew Rupert was happy. Rupert will be happy to stay with Chantelle again in the future.

Prince had a lovely time, and was so well looked after. Thank you so much xoxo
