About Chantelle P.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
If a dog needs to be transported to an area for walking they may do so in my car, they will be harnessed and attached within the adapted boot area. Treats and poo bags are provided by myself during the walk but if your dog has any allergies or a sensitive stomach you can provide your own treats, Water will be provided at the end of the walk. No dogs will be let off the lead during their first 2-3 walks, so I can get to know your dog and test their recall skills, I use a long line so they can still have some freedom and explore, only after spending time with them and with your consent will I allow any dogs to be let off the lead. I always carry a fully stocked first aid box within my car for any accidents.
Information Chantelle P. would like to know about your pet
I will need to carry out a free Meet & Greet with you and your pet before any walks/drop-in's are arranged, this lasts about 20-30 mins, its a good opportunity to find out about your dog and you can ask any questions. This creates trust and ensures I'm the right fit your pet and vice versa.
A typical day
Before any walks are carried out I ask a series of questions at the Meet & Greet to get to know your dog, and from this information I can find a walk that will suit them. While pet sitting I can carry out any pet related activities, such as playing with them, letting them have a toilet break, refilling any water/food bowls.
