I have been caring for dogs and cats for the past three years since moving to the United States from South Africa. I first lived in Austin, Texas, where I regularly dog sat, cat sat, and walked dogs for multiple families. I truly love animals and understand how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable leaving their pets with someone kind, responsible, and trustworthy. What sets me apart is that I care for every pet as if they were my own. I am patient, gentle, attentive, and very aware that every animal has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I enjoy getting to know each pet individually, whether they need lots of playtime, a calm presence, a structured walk, or extra love while their family is away. I am also very organized and reliable, and I make sure to follow instructions carefully so each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for.

Chantelle is an incredible person and has been with and worked with dogs her whole life. Extremely trustworthy and dependable, she is also sweet, friendly and fun and I would highly recommend her to someone to look after their pooch.
You could not have a better person caring for your pets than Chantelle. She’s watched my mini Goldendoodle Sami on multiple occasions and she LOVES her. I always feel so safe knowing she’s in good hands while I’m away!

Schedule
I recently moved to Atlanta for my husband’s work, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available during the week and on weekends for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. Because my schedule is open right now, I am able to offer reliable and attentive care at different times of the day. Once I begin a full-time job, my availability may change to more part-time care, but I will always keep my schedule updated and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to.

I live in a two-bedroom apartment with access to a dog park, so I can provide a comfortable and pet-friendly environment for dogs in my care. I am happy to care for your dog either in my space or in your home, depending on what works best for you and what helps your dog feel most comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I always make sure to follow their normal routine and any instructions provided, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any house rules. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will also always provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured and connected to your pet.
A typical day
A typical day will be tailored to your pet’s normal routine and personality, with plenty of attention, playtime with stimulating games, walks, potty breaks, meals, and downtime. For dogs who enjoy being active, I’m happy to take them on walks, play outside, explore nearby parks or trails, or take them to the dog park at my apartment building. For pets who prefer a more relaxed day, I’m just as happy to keep them company, give them lots of affection, and make sure they feel relaxed and at home. I work from home all day so I’m more than happy to spend time with them in my apartment with a few walks and potty breaks. My goal is to make their time with me feel fun, comfortable, and as close to their usual routine as possible.
