I don't remember at time that I didn't have a dog as a companion. They've always been a part of my family. Currently I have a long haired Chihuahua at home. Joey is 11 years old and going strong. Until this past April, I also had a miniature poodle that was named Shadow. Shadow and I were best friends for 17 years until he passed from old age. During his lifetime, Shadow was able to travel to The Bahamas and to Canada with me. I loved being with him. I know how hard it is to leave a pet behind, wondering if they're ok. It's important that you know they're well taken care of when you're away. I'll take care of them like they're my own.
