I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone else — that’s why I provide the same level of care, attention, and love that I expect for my own. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. As both a current cat owner and former dog owner, I understand firsthand the responsibility, patience, and attentiveness pets require at every stage. I have extensive experience caring for cats and dogs, including feeding, walks, litter box and yard maintenance, administering medications, and supporting pets with specific routines or needs. I’m especially attentive to animal body language and make sure each pet feels comfortable, secure, and respected in their environment. I work a full-time 9–5 schedule, which allows me to provide reliable morning, evening, and weekend care, as well as weekend and extended house-sitting with advance notice. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and respectful of both your home and your pet’s established routine. I share my home with a friendly, well-socialized cat who is comfortable around other animals, and I maintain a calm, safe environment at all times. You can expect consistent communication, regular photo updates, and thoughtful care so you always feel confident while you’re away. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, medication, affection, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I will treat them with the same care and attention as my own.

Chantay watched our 8 week old kitten over night while we went to camp. She sent lots of pictures and when we picked up our kitty (Cleo) you could visibly tell Cleo had been loved like she was Chantay’s own. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby Chantay! Chantay is now our go to cat sitter! This time kitty decided to refuse to take her pills in the baby food like she had been doing. Sigh. Chantay was quick to troubleshoot and create a "treat sandwich" to make sure rotten kitty got her meds :) Chantay is an excellent communicator. We're pretty flexible with the time of the drop ins since kitty has a timed feeder, and Chantay always sets up the food timers correctly and lets us know if she's going to be "off schedule" a bit in terms of popping back in. Thanks, Chantay!!!
Chantay took wonderful care of my dog Chewey in her home while I was away for an extended weekend trip. She kept me updated by sending pictures and videos throughout his stay, and I’m grateful for the time and attention she gave to him. Her cats were great with my dog as well which was a plus! I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the near future! :)

Chantay was awesome! She showed up exactly on time, followed all the instructions exactly (including giving our cat a pill and a medicated ear cream), and left detailed notes confirming everything she did during each of her visits. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a current pet owner. I structure my mornings and evenings around feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and attended to. Because I work a consistent 9–5 schedule, I’m reliably available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, and I can maintain consistent routines for feeding, walks, medications, and check-ins. I’m very organized and intentional about keeping pets on their normal schedule so they experience as little disruption as possible while their owner is away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I prioritize being dependable, attentive, and communicative for every pet I care for.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free. I follow all feeding schedules exactly, refresh water, clean litter boxes thoroughly, and make sure their environment stays clean and calm. I also spend quality time with each pet based on their personality—whether that’s playtime, affection, or simply sitting nearby to provide comfort and companionship. If caring for pets in my home (when applicable), I provide a quiet, safe, and clean environment. I have a friendly, well-socialized cat and am very mindful of slow introductions and maintaining a low-stress space. There are also separate rooms of need be. Pets always have access to clean water, a sanitary environment, and consistent supervision.

A typical day
I provide a variety of activities based on each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, this includes walks, structured playtime, tug-of-war, fetch, and outdoor time to help them burn energy and stay mentally stimulated. I also provide calm companionship, reinforce routines, and make sure they feel relaxed and secure. For cats, I use interactive toys like wand toys, teaser toys, and laser pointers (used safely) to encourage natural play and enrichment. I also spend quiet time sitting with them, offering affection, brushing if they enjoy it, and creating a calm presence—especially for cats who prefer gentle companionship over high activity.
