I work remotely and currently work from home Wednesday - Friday, which means I have plenty of time for fuss, play, and pop-in visits across the week. I’m a very active person, getting some fresh air at lunchtime and after work to mentally reset - furry friends are essential companions! Weekends I’m very flexible and able to provide longer term sitting solutions, including overnight care.

I currently have two beautiful (and probably a little spoiled) tabby cats and a lively cocker spaniel puppy! My cats spend time indoors and outdoors with a designated safe and quiet space in my attic with lots of cosy cubbies, cat towers and toys. I have a fully enclosed garden with lawn (which is great for snuffle activities) with a level patio for play with toys and little games of fetch.

A typical day
A typical day starts with a sniffari (with rewarding treats!) and a quick positive-reinforcement training burst, then the remainder of breakfast. As we head into late morning, I love a little play, and a calm settle. Around lunch we head out for a shorter adventure - pond, river walk, woods, or trails! The perfect places for recall practice, fetch and scent games built in. Afterwards it’s chill time while I work from home, with enrichment play sprinkled in. Early evening we go for a more energetic walk or hike (mountain miles if suitable), then wind down with gentle play, cuddles and a cosy settle for the night. However, I follow your routines to the letter, including crate training if preferred.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on the Gower with a country-farm lifestyle meant daily life with all sorts of companions! From the little ones (my hamster was called Ray Charles) to the ones with wings (chickens and pigeons) through to kitties, dogs, goats and even horses. That upbringing shaped my passion for compassionate, patient care, especially for rescue animals who need a little extra understanding. I’m confident with different temperaments and ages, happy to follow detailed instructions, and committed to welfare-first - it is always stress-free care. I treat every pet like family as that’s what they deserve!

We booked our dog in for a doggy daycare and Chantalle was amazing. She went above and beyond for Milo and he had such a great time with her and her dog too. Can’t recommend enough.
Chantalle was amazing with my dog Rexy. She took the time out of her day to come and visit him beforehand to make sure he was comfortable being around her. I was sent plenty of videos and photos while I was away keeping me in the loop with all the play time, dog walks and visits to the dog parks. Rexy even made a new best friend in Freddie. I would highly recommend Chantalle for anyone who’s looking for a dog sitter!
Chantelle provided fantastic care for Buie while we visited Cardiff for the day. Freddie and Buie matched each other's energy and after a day of adventuring Buie came back to us well exercised and had a great night sleep. The communication and photos throughout the day were excellent and we had complete confidence that Buie was well looked after in Chantelles care
