Allergies, previous operations, any limitations in his mobility. Dislike in treats or food. Any special diet he is currently in. Likes and dislikes with other pets.

A typical day

Hide & seek: Hide treats or toys around the apartment and let your dog sniff them out. Trick training: Spin, roll over, “bang,” weave through your legs, tidy up toys. Mini obstacle course: Pillows, chairs, broom handles on books = instant agility course. Impulse control games: “Wait,” “leave it,” or “place” games burn mental energy. Hallway fetch: Short tosses work surprisingly well. Find the human: You hide, dog finds you (dogs LOVE this). Lick mats: Peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin purée (dog-safe only). Chew time: Bully sticks, frozen Kongs, or long-lasting chews Massage or brushing sessions (especially good for anxious pups). Movie night with cuddles and a special chew.

Loving Care When You Can’t Be There

Pet care experience

For the past year, I’ve had the joy of caring for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. From playful puppies to senior dogs needing a little extra care, I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality and routine — and I love getting to know them all. Whether it’s going for walks, keeping up with feeding schedules, or giving a little extra cuddle time, I make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and happy while their owners are away.

Chantel was absolutely amazing with my dog! She’s incredibly kind, attentive, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She kept me updated frequently with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dog was clearly well cared for and got so much love and attention. I would 100% recommend Chantel to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter I’ll definitely be booking with her again!
