Started with Rover while I was in grad school and really enjoyed helping people with their furry friends! I’m currently working full time and can be really flexible. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs, whether that be through this app, through friends, or family. I also have a precious lil pup and kitty of my own that I also care for. I currently work full time but I can be really flexible. Chanel was a fantastic sitter for my two cats! She left very detailed comments in the daily Rover card and took a lot of pictures. I really appreciated her taking the time to exercise and play with the cats. I’d happily have Chanel watch them again!
Chanel was super good with my cat winter! She was super proactive and sent me cute pictures every day! She did a great job :)
Kona has a usual sitter he goes to but unfortunately she was fully booked this weekend. Luckily Chanel was available and from the start she already seemed extremely understanding. Kona can be a handful since he’s still a pup and that’s why I’m pretty picky about who I let watch him. Chanel communicated really well throughout his visit and made sure Kona was comfortable the whole time. Especially with introducing him to her own pup. She seemed really knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to deal with it accordingly. Very grateful for her watching Kona and will def come back to her!

I take pups out at least 2x/day (morning and evening) for potty breaks and exercise. I typically feed pups 2x/day (morning and evening) as well. I love getting cats to run around, climbing and jumping furniture (unless asked not to otherwise!).

A typical day
I am all for playing fetch with your pups, going for walks, and encouraging tricks for treats. With cats, I’ll typically hang around and give treats until they warm up to play (so they get used to my scent). Then I’ll play with them to let all of their feline tendencies out!
