Hi there, thanks for checking out my profile. I grew up in a rural area with several dogs, cats and farm animals. I’ve formally cared for animals 15 years now. I love pets, and would be honored to care for your family member. I have more experience with dogs, but I’ve cat-sat and horse-sat numerous times as well. I’m uniquely qualified in that my adopted doggo (who recently passed away due to cancer) had extreme behavioral challenges. She had severe separation, isolation & confinement anxiety along with leash reactivity and aggression. Due to these problem behaviors, I worked regularly with a trainer and learned several behavior reduction techniques. I was also a behavior therapist for years, which taught me how to positively reinforce desired behaviors.

Chandler was so great with my anxious rescue boy! He's still learning what's safe and she was exceptionally patient and sweet with him. She sent great updates throughout his stay and I'd trust my little potato with her anytime :)
Chandler was a fantastic sitter for my dog. She welcomed Rebel into her home, and made sure she was comfortable and relaxed. Rebel is dog-reactive and anxious, but Chandler is experienced with her personality type and was able to keep distracted and calm on walks. They even went for a long hike, which I could tell Rebel loved, from the videos and photos Chandler sent me while I was away. This was the first time being away from my dog since I adopted her eight months ago. Chandler texted updates and photos often throughout the weekend, which really helped me relax and be present on my trip. I'm very grateful. 100% will book Chandler again!
Chandler is awesome! I could tell my dog was really well cared for when I came to pick him up. He honestly seemed like he was content staying haha. Chandler provides excellent updates and photos, she even utilized a dog cam (even tho Dusty chose to sleep in her bed upstairs haha). I will definitely be reaching out again in the future. Chandler was amazing with my dog! She can be fearful with new people but she warmed up to Chandler and was actually more well behaved than usual on her walk. Chandler was a great listener too.
Chandler provided great updates about how our puppy was doing in her care. We really appreciated her professionalism and flexibility with meeting our girl’s needs.

Schedule
I currently work 8:30-4 but I can typically be home evenings and weekends. I also have approximately 3 months off a year so being home all day with your pet is easy peasy during holidays and the summer.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhouse which unfortunately doesn’t have a fenced yard but I am near several dog parks and have plenty of experience with leash training. I don’t have any pets. If your pet struggles with other animals, I will only take one pet at a time to accommodate for this. I want their experience to be stress free and safe.
A typical day
If your dog is able, I love taking pets to the river or dog park to run, or on a hike for an amazing day!
