Hello dog parents! I am an experienced dog care giver who has owned multiple dogs throughout my life. I'm a hiker/ backpacker and mountaineer, and I love to bring dog companions on my big adventures! I am happy to stop by to check on your furry friend, take them on an easy stroll through the neighborhood, or wipe them out with a strenuous hike while you're at work so you come home to a calm and sleepy pup. Not only will your dog be guaranteed a perfect level of exercise for their needs, but lots of love, affection and playtime as well! I am very receptive to the ways in which dogs communicate their needs or discomfort, and am great at adjusting activities and behaviors to ensure the most positive experience possible for your beloved pet. Chanda has been such a wonderful person to my pups. She had the patience and care with my special needs senior dog, and energy to keep up with my 8 month old puppy. She has such a clear love for all dogs and I trust her 100% with my dogs and home while I am away. She is reliable and responsible and sends frequent updates and pics of their adventures together. I will continue to reach out to Chanda when I need a sitter as she is the absolute best!
I am so pleased with our experience with Chanda! We’ve never left our dog with anyone other than family before, but had the opportunity to go on a once-in-a-lifetime family trip and needed a dog sitter for our little senior special needs dog, Bandit. I had very high anxiety about this whole Rover experience, but Chanda eased my anxiety through the whole process. We started off with a great meet-and-greet visit prior to our trip. Bandit loved Chanda, and she was able to give him the time and space he needed to feel comfortable around her. While we were gone, she provided photo updates and just enough reassurance that everything was going smoothly. She followed our detailed instructions and respected our home. We are very grateful to her, and would highly recommend her for any pet sitting or pet care needs that you have! I will definitely be using her again!
Chandra, was amazing! She took the booking at last minute after our other potential Rover sitter didn’t respond to us. She took great care of all our animals and communicated well with us. We definitely would use Chandra again.

Chanda is a dream animal and house sitter! She absolutely loves my pets and sent photos everyday of my doggies out on the trails. She also gave one of my kitty's some post op care and medicine without a moments hesitation. I highly recommend her and will use her as often as I can!

Schedule
I work from home Monday- Friday from 7 am- 4 pm. Working remote allows me the flexibility to step away to take your pet on a walk, potty break, or just to give some loves.

I do not offer pet care in my home at this time. At a client’s home, my care routine depends entirely on the requests of the pet owner. I love written instructions so I can ensure I’m keeping with the pup’s routine as much as possible!
Pets
A typical day
I spend a lot of time hiking in the gorge and in the Cascades. On a typical weekend day, I wake up early and get ready to head out for a hike with the pup! I’m usually back late afternoon or early evening to have dinner and relax at home for the rest of the day. I’ll generally spend the next day in town and get the pup out for a run or long walk. Sometimes, depending on the pet owner’s preference, I might plan a beach trip or some other fun day trip, or alternatively, I’m happy to keep it mellow if that best suits your pup’s needs.
