I’m a graduate student at Virginia Tech with a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pup! I’m an early riser and live right next to campus, so it’s easy for me to stop by for walks, playtime, or quick potty breaks. I love going on runs and long walks, and on nice weekends, I enjoy hiking and would be happy to bring your dog along if that would be okay! I also love to take photos on the puppies that I dog sit for and send it to the owners for peace of mind.

I live in a spacious house with plenty of room for dogs to feel comfortable, both indoors and outside. We’re right next to Blacksburg Municipal Park, one of my favorite places for walks and playtime. My roommate loves dogs just as much as I do and will give your pup the same affection and attention you’d expect from me.

Loving Pups Like They’re My Own!

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always had a soft spot for dog sitting. I know they miss their parents, so I give them extra love when I take care of them! I Dog-sat for the first time when I was about 12, cared for my aunt’s Great Dane, Mufasa — a 150-pound gentle giant and one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. Recently I’ve had the privilege of taking care of the dogs of two of my college professors as well as friends and family whenever they need. Back at my parents home, I have my own pup, Loki, who keeps me active and constantly entertained. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a big snuggle buddy, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and cared for like they’re my own.

Challen did a great job caring for Patrick! He was very communicative and caring, Pat seemed right at home. All care instructions were followed and pickup/drop-off was smooth. I would definitely recommend this sitter! Thank you again!
Challen did a great job watching my 8 year old maltipoo! She has some specific needs and enjoys a lot of attention and he went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and cared for. He also made sure to keep me updated regularly with photos while I was away, which was amazing because I worry! Thankfully Challen does such an amazing job and I had a worry-free trip!
