I started out on Rover as a pet parent looking for someone to take care of my fur babies so I’m familiar with both sides of the transaction and I understand how important it is to find that person you trust in your home and with your pets. I care for pets and homes the same way I hope someone would care for mine. I’m naturally tidy, mindful of your space, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I communicate more than your average Rover sitter, sending several photos and updates. I NEVER have guests over and I bring my own food with me. I’m great at meeting animals where they are—whether that’s a shy cat or a puppy still figuring out potty training. I pay close attention to routines, personalities, and the little details that help pets feel safe and happy while you’re away. Please note that I do work remotely and require reliable internet for all housesitting gigs!!!! Thanks in advance.

Chalee once again took excellent care of my pups. She went above and beyond, and my pups were very happy to hang out with her again. She played with them and took them for walks, and they love her! I highly recommend Chalee, especially if you need pet sitting at your house, she is respectful in my home and leaves it better than when I left.
It didn’t take any time for my dogs to warm up to Chalee. She sent pictures often and it looked like they were happy and relaxed. Having her at our house gave up peace of mind that our pups were safe.
This was my first time using Rover and having someone stay at my house with my pups. Chalee was absolutely great from the get-go. She explained to me how everything works. She came over to meet my pups and they were completely comfortable with her immediately. She went above and beyond and took THE BEST care of my pups providing updates and pictures often. My pups were happy in every picture! It definitely helped me feel confident my pups were in great hands. (and she left my house better than when I left). I highly recommend her, and I will absolutely rebook with her again!

I highly recommend Chalee as a house sitter and pet sitter. She has a natural love for animals and treats every pet with genuine care, patience, and kindness. It’s clear she can’t stand to see an animal uncomfortable or distressed—she goes out of her way to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. From walks to feeding she made sure all their needs were met. Not to mention the attention and LOTS of affection. Beyond her wonderful way with animals, Chalee is exceptionally tidy, organized, and respectful of anyone's home. Her experience in home care and maintenance made me feel comfortable with leaving my home with her. Every time she has helped me, she left my home cleaner than she found it and my pets calm, content, and well-loved. Anyone who chooses her as a sitter will be incredibly lucky to have someone so dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely caring.

Schedule
Being fully remote means I can stay home while house sitting, keeping your pets safe, happy, and well cared for. While I occasionally leave to run errands, attend a networking event or go to a yoga class, the majority of my day is spent virtually, so your pets won’t be left alone for long.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize a safe, secure, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I monitor behavior closely, and provide consistent care with patience, affection and fun! I’m home most of the day, offering companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation. I communicate openly with owners, giving updates and reassurance, so you can trust your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm also happy to keep a special eye on small dogs when they are outside if predators are a concern in your area (hawks, owls, coyotes). If dog walks are part of your booking request, I ask that your dogs have harnesses (rather than leashes attached to collars) for safety, and I try to dodge other people and dogs while on walks to avoid any possible issues.
Pets
A typical day
I typically wake up around 6:30-7am. My morning routine usually involves coffee, feeding pets and checking email/planning my day. If I have work meetings during the day they are usually 1-2 hours long with 30+ minute breaks in between (pet potty breaks). Sometimes I will run errands during the day and/or attend a local event for a few hours. At night I hang out with the pets, watch TV and usually in bed between 9-11pm. I'm used to the “let the dog in”, “let the dog out” routine if your pups have a yard, but don't have a dog door and I’m mindful of regular potty breaks for apartment-living dogs. I typically do 2x/day status updates a day (sometimes more), any oral medication (in food bowls, cheese or pill pockets), watering plants and bringing in mail/packages and always aim to leave the home as clean or cleaner than when I arrived.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. Please let me know if they do things like eat trash, are aggressive with other dogs or people or if they have special commands or keywords (sit, stay, free, walk, cookie, treat, etc). Please also leave an extra spare key hidden somewhere outside or with a neighbor as a safetly net in case digital lock batteries die.
