Hi! My name is Chae Chavis. I am 27 years old. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience working with animals in professional settings. I previously worked as a veterinary technician and also worked alongside a service dog trainer, so I’m comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and training needs. I understand basic training cues, proper handling, and how to recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort in pets. Because of this background, I’m confident caring for puppies, high-energy dogs, and senior pets while keeping their routines consistent and making sure they feel safe and well cared for.

Chae was a terrific caregiver for our little Lady Bug. She sent wonderful pictures that showed a happy, well-taken care of puppy! Lady Bug has previously not been used to being around cats. Chae sent a picture of Lady Bug sleeping and a cat nearby. She is a warm, gentle person and I wondered if Lady Bug would even want to come home. I highly recommend this pet sitter who will treat your pet like a King or Queen.
All I have to say is Chae is the best! You can tell she really loves our fur babies just like they are her own. We will be using her again. I recommend everyone book with Chae if they have a chance to! Thank you so much for watching Oliver and Fred while we were away.
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She was incredibly reliable, responsive, and clearly experienced with dogs. We loved receiving regular updates and photos, and it was obvious our dog was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great stay. We felt totally at ease leaving our dog in her care and will 100% be booking again!

Schedule
As a full-time nursing student, I keep a very structured schedule and plan my days carefully, which makes it easy to build pet care into my routine. I’m home most evenings and nights and make sure pets receive consistent attention, feeding, walks, and playtime. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily life since I’m used to managing responsibilities and maintaining routines, and my healthcare/ veterinary assistant background has also made me very attentive to safety, behavior changes, and overall well-being.

Pets in my home are treated like part of the family. I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get exercise, along with regular walks and supervised outdoor time. Inside, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal feeding schedules, routines, and any instructions provided by their owner. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm environment so they feel safe and relaxed while staying with me.

A typical day
I like to keep pets active and engaged with plenty of playtime and attention. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, this can include playing in the fenced backyard, going on walks, playing fetch or tug, and interactive toys or enrichment activities. I also make sure there’s time to relax and get plenty of affection so pets feel comfortable and happy while their owner is away.
