My schedule is flexible, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. I can easily work around your pet’s normal routine, including meals, walks, playtime, medication, potty breaks, and plenty of companionship. I’m also comfortable adjusting my schedule when a pet needs a little extra attention or prefers having someone nearby. I’m also available for overnight stays when needed, ensuring your pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away.

The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is for me to keep things familiar, safe, and comfortable for them. I also appreciate knowing the little things—what they love, what they avoid, what helps them settle, and anything that makes their routine easier.

A typical day really depends on the pet. For dogs, that may mean walks, playtime, exploring new smells, a game of fetch, or just hanging out together between activities. For cats and more relaxed pets, I’m perfectly happy providing quiet companionship, affection, and play on their terms. I try to keep each pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible while adding in the attention, activity, and downtime they enjoy most. Some pets want to stay busy all day, and others are happiest curled up next to you on the couch—I’m good with both.

I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m comfortable with basic training and administering medications, including certain injectable medications and fluids for cats. I’m skilled at building trust with shy cats and energetic dogs and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their people are away. I’m calm, reliable, communicative, and attentive to both your pet’s routine and your home while you’re gone.

Chadd took great care of our dogs during our two week trip, providing regular updates in the Rover app at our requested interval and managing a complication very professionally. When we had a leak spring up, Chadd contacted us promptly and worked with one of our family members to facilitate repairs. The dogs were clearly well-loved and received appropriate food and exercise in our absence. The house was perfectly clean and he even took care of washing the bedding. I highly recommend Chadd and plan to book with him again in the future.
Chadd is a real animal person; he loves our two kitties like his own. He created an immediate bond with our cats and they enjoy his visits. We rely on Chadd to watch our cats whenever we go out of town. He gives them lots of love and attention while taking care of food, etc. He’s also helpful around the house, bringing in the mail and watering plants whenever needed.
