Hello! I grew up with German shepherds and absolutely love big dogs (my last one was 120 lbs). As a kid I often pet sat for neighbors- furry, scaly, and feathered varieties. I worked as a dog walker for Wag! back in 2015 and had many glowing reviews (I'm trying to regain access to those). I am well practiced with large and/or reactive dogs. My last GSD was extremely dog reactive (and occasionally people reactive) due to some early life trauma and I spent our 9 years together working with him to reduce stressors. In addition to this, a few of the dogs I walked with Wag! were stranger/male reactive, and I was able to gain their trust relatively quickly and without incident. I achieved this by maintaining a calm, easeful presence until they eventually calmed down and became curious about the strange human just chilling in their home. I appreciated the trust granted me by the parents, but I deeply appreciated the trust I eventually won from the pets.

Unfortunately I cannot board pets in my home because one of my roommates is allergic, so I'd love to take care of your pets in your home! Additionally, caring for them in their own space reduces the stress caused by your absence. I'm happy to work from your home during the day, providing them the attention and activity needed to keep them happy.

Took very good care of my house and my dog and cat while I was gone. Was very communicative and responsive and I got lots of pictures and videos!
This was our second booking with Cesar and he did a great job with our pets! He was very communicative, sent us great pet photos and left the house in great shape.
Cesar is so great! He was so patient with my anxious and reactive boy. He let my pup take his time warming up to him and eventually won him over with some cuddles! Cesar was very communicative and left my house very clean! Thank you, Cesar!
Cesar was amazing! We had a last minute cancellation prior to an international trip and were totally freaked out and he immediately put our minds at ease from the first meeting. He kept us updated with photos and left our place impeccable. Sunshine seemed to warm right up to him. Highly recommend!
Cesar did a great job on the almost week long housesit! All the pets seemed happy and healthy when I got home (including the asthmatic cat). He clearly walked/ played with the highish energy German shepherd mix really well, since she settled down a lot faster than usual when I returned home. Cesar was very communicative and we got lots of photo and videos updates of the pets. I really appreciated how thorough he was during the meet and greet. He has a lot of very thoughtful questions prepared. Cesar was able to handle a minor home maintenance issue that popped up due to an overactive earthquake gas shut off valve, saving us a plumber visit on a holiday weekend. He also did a great job cleaning up after himself.
Cesar was awesome! He was the most responsive Rover I’ve ever worked with, and sent plenty of photos and updates. Huck is quite high energy and Cesar met his needs, with lots of play time, hikes and fetch. He also went above and beyond, helping to move our car for street cleaning and even cleaning the whole apartment and doing laundry before we got back. Will definitely want to work with Cesar again!

Tidsplan
I am self-employed and work part-time, which leaves plenty of time to hang with your dog! Administrative work allows me to have chill time with them at home, and the flexibility means I can take them on adventures as appropriate/desired.
