Pet care experience
Home full-time, very patient
Animal welfare is a passion of mine. I've had one animal or another since I was a child and am pursuing a career as a professional dog trainer. Dogs are definitely what I know the most about. I have experience with senior, special needs, and even nursing mothers with newborn pups. I've also fostered and worked for a shelter before. If there is something you are struggling to train your dog that you would like me to try my hand at while they are in my care, I would be more than willing to get more practice in for an extra charge! I look forward to working with you all!

Ratings and reviews
Celosia did a great job taking care of our 4 cats while we were away!

Celosia was fantastic! Great communication and super with our animals! I will certainly trust her again!
Celosia was fantastic with my dog Dixie! She sent regular updates and pictures, which I thoroughly appreciated. I always like to see how Dixie is doing when she stays away from home, and she really seemed to enjoy being with Celosia. Celosia has a dog that Dixie got along with really well- they were constantly playing together. I will definitely being using Celosia's services again in the future :)
Celosia kept Ralph during the day and overnight. She went above and beyond sending pictures and text updates throughout his stay. Her dog Dingo and Ralph got to keep each other company the whole time. Ralph can't wait to go back to see his new friends!
Celosia is a wonderful person. She's personally helped me get through rough times in my life so she is very reliable and loyal. She used to help care for a special needs dog named Rome when she lived in St. Charles and was really good with him. Taking him for walks, giving him attention, training him, giving him treats. Rome learned what "kennel up" means from Celosia and would willingly go into a kennel when she would say "kennel up." She currently has a dog with her friend Jon named Dingo that is also special needs that they care for together. He has anxiety issues and she & Jon have taken great care of him. They bring him to dog parks, they brought him a thunder jacket, they've cuddled with him during times he's been super scared. If you are looking for a reaponsible and loving dog caregiver with experience caring for all types of dogs including special needs Celosia is your gal.

Schedule
I work from home so have a flexible schedule. The only conflict usually is kid school pick up and drop off. After 9:30 am or after 3:30 pm usually works.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsCelosia can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- All breeds mixed or pure 70 lbs and under are welcome. I would ask that any key health or behavioral issues be discussed beforehand so I am able to better prepare and make sure I can deliver the assistance you need.
