Hi! My name is Celine and I’m new to Rover :) I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! Even though I didn’t grow up with one because of my dad’s allergies, I’ve always jumped at any chance to care for friends’ dogs. I’m very active, so I love going on walks, playing, and making sure pets get lots of attention and exercise. Ive also read a lot about how to take care of certain breeds of dogs (example: Dachsund) and what exercises and mental stimulation they will need. I’ve dog sat many times over the years and enjoy every minute of it. I’m thinking of getting a puppy next year so would love to use Rover as a start! Please be aware that I will be moving to CT/NYC November 21st! So I will be available in Boston until then :)

Schedule
I currently am working hybrid (Tuesday-Wednesday) in office, but my partner works fully remote Monday-Friday (He also loves animals and has a dog of his own at home, so he would be able to take care of any dog/cat while I’m at work for a couple hours)! On the days where I work from home, I have time throughout the day to go on a walk, make lunch, etc. I will have plenty of time to take care of pets throughout the week/weekends.

I care for pets by making sure they always have fresh water available and that they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in my care. During walks, I pay close attention to a dog’s body language and energy levels, and I adjust accordingly if they seem uncomfortable or overwhelmed. I also love keeping pets entertained and engaged throughout the day with playtime, enrichment activities, and even a little training—whether it’s for learning or just for fun!
A typical day
We will go outside for walks and fun! I’ll make sure they are stimulated enough by doing certain exercises or activities, give lots of cuddles, and make sure they are comfortable and happy in my home/outside!
