Pet care is my full-time work. Full-stop! Currently, I manage a small team that helps with daily dog-walking and drop-ins. That support lets me be more present at home with my overnight clients instead of juggling a second job. During sits, my focus is on keeping your pet’s normal routine—meals, walks, meds, and bedtime—as consistent and low-stress as possible. They can also get many pack walks if they like!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is at the center of everything I do. In your home or on a walk, I follow clear protocols for things like leash handling, doors/gates, dog-dog introductions, and heat/weather so your pet is never put at unnecessary risk. Dogs are always supervised when they’re together, and if my own dog is in your home, he’s crated or behind a gate any time I’m not actively supervising. I run my pet-care business with written SOPs for emergencies, medications, and lost-pet procedures, and my team and I all follow the same standards. I double-check collars/harnesses before every walk, don’t walk off-leash unless in a securely fenced area with your permission, and keep your home treated with the same respect and privacy I’d want for my own. Regular updates and photos are part of the package, so you always know your pets are safe and cared for. I'm also independently insured & bonded.

Information Celine F. would like to know about your pet
A meet & greet is required for all new clients so I can make sure it’s a good fit for your dog, my care style, and my Golden, Graham (who usually joins me for in-home sits). Before booking, I like to know: your dog’s daily routine (feeding, potty, walk times), medical history and medications, allergies, mobility issues, how they do with other dogs/people, and any known triggers (doorbells, skateboards, cats, guarding around food/toys, etc.). I also ask about your training style and how you’d like me to handle things like jumping, pulling on leash, or barking so I can stay consistent with what you’re already working on.
A typical day
For in-home sittings, I build the day around your dog’s normal routine plus plenty of exercise, enrichment, and downtime. Mornings usually start with a potty break, breakfast, and a walk in your neighborhood or nearby trails, followed by playtime, training games, or puzzle toys based on your dog’s energy level. My Golden Retriever, Graham, comes with me for most in-home sits and is part of the experience. He’s friendly, well-socialized, crate-trained, and very good at reading other dogs. I introduce dogs slowly, supervise all interactions at all times, and use crates/gates and separate spaces as needed so everyone feels safe and can have breaks if needed. Graham is never left alone with a client's dog or in a home uncrated. Throughout the day, we rotate between walks, play, mental stimulation, and rest (plus any meds or special routines you’ve requested). In the evenings, we wind down with another walk, dinner, cuddles, or quiet time, and whatever bedtime ritual your dog is used to. For walks and drop-ins booked on their own, it’s usually just me and your dog, so we can focus fully on their preferred pace, sniffing, and play style. If they'd like a pack walk buddy, let me know and I can bring Graham along!

Pet care experience
Woof! Hi! I’m Celine - a full-time pet care professional, dog walker, and owner of A Girl & Her Golden Pet Care based in Aliso Viejo. I’ve spent the last 8+ years caring for dogs and other pets in a mix of professional, volunteer, and academic settings, and I’m proud to maintain a 5⭐️ rating (on Rover AND Google) with loyal repeat clients. It's honestly a dream to have made pet care and dog-walking into my full-time job. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 & 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 - Former PetSmart dog trainer with accreditation in positive reinforcement methods and 100+ hours of teaching group classes and private sessions - Strong foundation in dog body language, behavior, and enrichment - calm, structured handling and clear communication - Experience with puppies (aw cute! hey! stop biting me!), energetic adolescents (so sorry), and more sensitive or shy dogs who need a little extra patience 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 & 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 For 6+ years, I’ve volunteered with local shelters walking, feeding, and socializing dogs to help them feel safe, build confidence, and become more adoptable. This gave me a lot of hands-on experience with different temperaments, sizes, and needs. 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 I’m a graduate of Soka University, where I completed and published a 50-page thesis on how culture influences dog behavior and human–dog relationships. I stay curious and up to date on modern, science-based approaches to training and welfare. I attend dog-training workshops regularly. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐠, 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦 🦮 In 2022, I brought home my Golden Retriever, Graham. He’s been my "business partner" on many walks, drop-ins, and overnights since he was 4 months old - I built my entire business around him. He’s crate-trained, potty-trained, friendly, and has helped me fine-tune multi-dog management and safe social interactions. I couldn't imagine life without him. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞 Clients often tell me I feel like part of the family, not “just” a sitter. When I care for your pets, you can expect: - Clear, prompt communication - Detailed updates and photos - Respect for your home, routines, and training goals - A calm, confident sitter who genuinely loves what she does This role is my priority, not to mention my career. I take your trust seriously and do everything I can to make sure your pets (and you!) feel safe, seen, and happy while you’re away. I’d love to get to know you and your pets, Celine & Graham 💛🦮
Reviews
Celine was amazing with my cat, Starsky. The photos and updates from each visit were great and very reassuring that he was very well taken care of. Love the little details about Starsky’s actions she’d throw in the update, it let me know that she was really attentive and he was a happy cat. She really went above and beyond and I would book with her again for sure.

Our dogs are always happy to see Celine! She always makes sure they go potty and have fresh water. We can always be sure that they are in good hands ❤️
Celine took care of our three cats for the good part of a week. She came in twice a day to feed and play with them. She was conscientious and responsible. She kept us updated by sending pictures and writing notes about her visits on a daily basis. The cats really warmed up to her over the week which was reassuring for us. In general she did a great job -:)

Celine did a great job taking care of Milo. Will definitely hire her again.
